Good event this past weekend.

That Thai guy who fought KC Green on the prelims is nasty. Sitsongpeenong. Nasty and cruel. And can box. Lead uppercuts from a Thai? Also: one of the worst non-stoppages in pro fight sports recently. Holy eff.

Oh ****, Badr Hari vs Rico V Dec 10th. Vids of Badr hitting pads are up, he's just insane. Anything can happen at those HWs but I think Badr has to be the favorite (of chemists and sportsfans both).

Non stoppage was brutal.

Badr is ridiculously chemically enhanced. War Rico. Hilarious to me that in Rico's mma fight he took the dude to the ground. Just awesome. Seems like a great kid.

Not trying to bash Glory but it seems like everytime I catch an event or fights (admittedly not a ton) its kind of just the same dudes fighting each other over and over. Lots of rematches all the time. It doesn't bother me as much as it does in mma for some reason though. Probably just because those guys have so many more fights in their careers usually.

It's true about the re-matches. I'm unsure why. You saw it in kickboxing & mt in the 90s / 00s too, it's not Glory. Dekker would fight guys 4-5 times, K1 fighters too. Small scene? Like 50s boxing. Robinson and LaMotta VI.

Rico doesn't look like that from veg & potatoes, to paraphrase Mirko.

Thanks for the update. I used to be into K-1 (bigger presence in Asia), but I haven't been able to get into Glory. I'll probably check out this event though.

Could only find the main event, and yeah...not the event to get me back into kickboxing.

Would be happy to see this thread continue to get updates though.

But they looked skilled and ready. The speed and the movement and the power. A way superior state of athletics between those two than anything HW boxing can put together. I mean, Wilder doesn't hold a candle to either of those two in terms of his talent or craft (in his sport), he's a **** joke. These guys looked agile, their movement was beautiful. The speed on this switch kicks. The speed on Rico's right. The ability to move in and out, light on their feet. Awesome.

Yeah the main fight could have been great, and I'm looking forward to the rematch.
But the less said about the other HW match the better.

Verhoeven has been throwing around more challenges, and Remi Bonjasky has accepted. Should be late 2017.
Bonjasky is 41 and his last fight was 3 years ago, so I'm not sure what to expect.
