Walker clearly let up on Smith in the final couple minutes. ....why? Was he being merciful? That was so weird. Smith was ****, but Walker deliberately did not capitalize.

LOL @ Dom Cruz as a commentator. Smith eats multiple shots through the second round, is clearly rocked, but secures a half-guard on a desperation takedown. "This is great. This is exactly what Smith wanted." Later, in the third, Smith gets clipped, covers up and crumples to a knee. "He's not hurt, he's just protecting himself!" (Even DC laughed at this.)

Shades of his classic Connor vs Khabib commentary.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Cruz is an awful commentator IMO, I'm shocked at how many people think he's so insightful. He literally starts making up stuff just so that he can pretend he's the only person that knows what's' actually going on.

You telling me Conor wasn’t trying to gas Khabib out by taking ground and pound?

Yeah Jays are playing now 5th inning already. The Sports Network/TSN is showing them(the fights) starting at 5 pm EDT so
ill throw it on 1 of my 5 displays/screens. Then Lakers/Nuggs at 8:30 pm EDT & then my static gaming group starts at 8 pm.
So fun times all around.

That was one of the most exciting wmma fights ever. Dern was possessed. ... I can't even believe the level of conditioning She was in full hulk smash for 25 minutes.

Herb should have ended that earlier. Hill had no route to victory.

Her cardio was just **** absurd and her striking technique had to have cleaned up a good deal because she was throwing with power the entire fight and didn't gas a single iota. If she can continue to crispen up her striking she's a freaking problem because she can put some girls' lights out.

Her ground game (GNP included) was reminiscent of Khabib. Her wrestling is absolute **** though, so she relied on destroying Hill with her hands. No idea why she struggles wrestling, she's clearly got a really technical mind to be so good at grappling and now taking on striking and physically she's built and strong as an ox, but that element of her game is just missing.

Super hyped on her future, sad she had to get divorced to reach this level but its clearly done something for her motivation.

I feel like she had two clear chances to finish the fight and instead of finishing with strikes she went to take it to the ground. Kinda low iq options at the time but other than that great performance. She got 3 10-8 rounds.

Yeah the wrestling needs a lot of work. I think she needs to find somewhere she can just learn wrestling keeping none of her bjj knowledge in mind.

Jim Miller is absurd. He was on UFC 100, UFC 200 and he has every reason to be on UFC 300.

That was one of the worst decisions I’ve seen in mma. Not giving Kai the fourth is completely criminal.

I didn't catch the fights this weekend, but heard this was another poorly judged Main Event. The guy who scored 4th for Albazi is Chris Lee.

I also read about Ketlez Souza being knee-locked by Karine Silva and Souza's probably not gonna be the same again. The video highlight made me squirm.

I have no plans on Saturday morning (Pacific) so another coffee and fights as this card is in 12 ET prelims in Jacksonville so 9AM for me. Looks like a pretty good card to me, some rescheduled fights from other cards, 14 total, and I'm still interested in seeing this Japanese guy Tatsuro Taira win, he seems like a nice top-10 type prospect. Topuria vs Emmett main card and other bangers in the mix
