Condit-Lawler. There was more pomp and circumstance surrounding Conor-Nate, and it was a great fight, but Conor was pretty gassed in the last couple of rounds. Condit and Lawler were slugging it out until the end. He was throwing back between moments where it looked like Lawler was going to get the clutch finish. Great drama, and surviving the onslaught should have won him his first UFC. Didn't see Cub-Choi.

Robbie Lawler vs. Carlot Condit. It's a shame what the result was.

I may have to rewatch Lawler vs. Condit, as it probably suffers from being too early in the year, but McGregor/Diaz II gets up there for living up to/exceeding the hype in a fight with so many people watching.

However, contradicting the idea that the stage matters, Choi vs. Cub was just such a great fight I had to vote for it.

Went with Robbie/Condit that fight was just insane and to top it off the result was even more bizarre. The legend of 5th Round Lawler lives on.

I loved the Diaz/McGregor 2 as Conor showed so much poise in executing his game plan to perfection, but something about Nate seemed off that fight (though it could have been those devastating leg kicks)

Choi v Cub loses points by being only a 3 round fight, but that was a fight that legitimately could have been ended by either side multiple times. Intense

I really hope everyone saw O'Connell vs Bosse. Both men lost years. Beautiful, gritty boxing.

Conor vs Nate is my vote. For the character Conor showed coming back between the end of the 3rd (4th?) and the 4th. He was so close to done. But he did his thing, Nate gor shook by a cut, and Conor was back by the end of the 4th. So dramatic, given the scale of the fight.

Almost went with Choi/Swanson until I remembered how ridiculous Lawler/Condit was.

Bumping this to hopefully get a few more votes so we can avoid a tie.

Recency bias playing a big role I think with the Choi fight. I really would suggest everyone who voted for that fight to go back and rewatch that Condit-Lawler brawl

I think Condit/Lawler was better because it was so back and forth. If Choi had a normal person's chin, he gets KTFO and this fight isn't even in the discussion. Obviously the fight was remarkable and Choi's heart is ridiculous and he deserves the accolades for that, but not sure that accolade should be foty.
