Was supposed to have Cody / TJ, but Cody is out. Romero / Whittaker is for an interim belt.
Announced fights:
Amanda Nunes vs. Valentina Shevchenko
Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker
Robbie Lawler vs. Donald Cerrone
Fabricio Werdum vs. Alistair Overeem
Anthony Pettis vs. Jim Miller

IDK how it does on ppv but this is a well constructed card.
*A title fight containing a champion who recently headlined the two largest non-Conor PPVs of the last few years vs a worthy contender who was recently built up as a headliner on fox.
*An interim title fight between two guys who have been built up on fox and/or big PPVs.
*Two really good fights in the middle, both with potential title implications.
*An exciting curtain jerker between two names, although not really very title relevant.

It's a solid card, though I don't think it'll do that well on PPV.
Also they should stop holding fights up for TUF.

Cowboy/Lawer fight is off. Looks like they're going to move it to UFC 214. This card has taken such a huge hit with the Cody/TJ bout falling apart and now this. Lots of fans were excited for this one, maybe even more than the main event tbh.

That sucks for the moment, but that fight will be a boost to DC/Bones Jones card.

Cowboy must have needed his leg amputated to ask out of a fight. He's not as tough as Chandler though because he asks for that to happen so he can fight.

It sucks the fight fell through, but this is still a good card and the Cowboy/Lawer fight shouldn't be delayed for too long.

I cannot believe Romero still has that physique years into USADA...at 40-something. You guys watching any of this training footage? He's already at like 4% body fat, traps bigger than my lats.

Woodley and Romero probably had the two most ridiculous physiques _before_ USADA. Somehow, neither has lost a fibre since USADA. It's a head-scratcher. It's possible to look (and perform) like THAT while being clean??
It's not that either of those dudes could have access to any exclusive, ultra-stealth gear. If such a thing existed, Overeem, Wandy, and Vitor would be able to get their hands on it. Tyron and Joel must just be that insanely blessed.

I have watched his training videos, he looks awesome. Let see what happens just 5 days to go.

Dana White said Joanna was pleading to step in for Nunes, but looks unlikely.

WTF man... apparently doctors have cleared Nunes to fight, but she still refuses. Not a good look...

"The doctor cleared her to fight, she said she doesn't feel good," White said via the L.A. Times. "It is what it is. You can't make anyone fight."

Seeing Jordan Mein on this skid sucks. Probably one of the bigger let downs as far as his potential goes. He had a solid fight against Rory when they were 17 or so. A lot of wasted talent, and I fear he's going back to retirement. And one inexperienced cornerman? Wth was that. Should've had his had dad in his corner at least.
Hope he goes to tri star
