Can't wrap my head around Gus being a 3 to 1 or more favorite here.

Wouldn't have guessed those odds, records are really similar.

Both are very good. Glover imo is criminally underrated. Maybe because he was beaten by Phil when he literally trained in his garage for that fight. Otherwise he was smashed by Rumble but so was Gus. Lost to Bones but so did Gus. Granted Gus was more competitive. Glover vs Cormier is a fight I wouldn't mind seeing.

Oezdemir needs a top opponent. Like Bader or Davis.

If Bellator didn't have an even worse release policy he could have fought them next because he was a fighter of theirs. But they cut him after one loss.

LOL I didn't watch the fight but had a feeling Gus would beat the brakes off Glover as soon as I said the odds in Gus favor were too high.

You'd have gone broke if over the years you regularly bet the point spreads in Gus' fights. You've consistently underrated him for whatever reason.

I remember there was a guy in the Sherdog betting threads who always bemoaned he could never get a read on Belcher and bet 12 straight fights of his incorrectly.

That Oezdemir punch was the worst KO punch I've ever seen. WTF?

This is actually an ironic post because I think I'm better at picking Gus fights than you. Unless you picked Gus against DC, I think we have probably picked the same/correct outcome of every Gus fight with the exception that I think you picked Rumble vs him even though I said going into that fight that Gus being favored was silly. I never said Gus would lose here btw, I think the fight was a coinflip slightly favoring Gus, I just said him being -300 to -325 was surprising to me.

So feel free to holla at me in a few months when Gus fights again if you need a breakdown.

I haven't seen this discussed here, but Rumble "getting the itch" again is just annoying.

So apparently Teixeira, after the eye poke, told the ref that he couldn't see but wanted to fight and the doctor was ok with that...

The exchange was visible on the broadcast. It was awkward. Something like:

T: I can't see, give me some time to recover.
Goddard: I can't give you time, there is no time. Can you see?
T: I can't see.
Goddard: I can't give you time. Can you see?
T: I can fight.

The doc shrugged his shoulders and let it continue.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I don't know why they don't give fighters 5 minutes for an eye poke.

Sounds like the ref or the doctor should have stopped it.
