There are plenty of guys with big hearts in boxing. Don't get things twisted because Diego is more high profile to you. Yuri Foreman tore his ACL and Meniscus in a knee against 38 seconds into the 7th round of his Yankee Stadium fight with Miguel Cotto. He kept fighting and survived until 42 seconds left in the 9th. Arthur Abraham kept fighting Edison Miranda despite having a glaringly obvious broken jaw that gushed blood with every landed punch. That's just two examples of guys off the top of my head that showed at least as much heart as Diego Sanchez.

LOL no, sorry. Corazon de Lion is the GOAT in terms of literally everything regarding fighting. No other boxer/wrestler/martial artist comes close.

Nope.

You made my day.

:banghead: Its all good.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

This has been so expertly played. I love how it sets up the real money fight of Floyd v. Ronda MMA rules

People payed to watch joey buttafuco box Chyna. They'll watch anything.
Boxing's soul was sold a long time ago, let's not act like stage show fights are something new.

It's prizefighting guys, you are supposed to sell your soul if it will fetch a large enough purse.

Gotta go, training for my UFC interim title coming up next weekend. Never mind I was just stripped by Dana.

I was just thinking if this fight we're to have happened 30 years ago it would've probably been against Tommy Hearns (basically a Nick Diaz from hell times ten). Weight and trash talking it would've been the perfect match up at that time.

Am I the only one that thinks that fight ends with Conor unconscious in horrific fashion 99% of the time?

He's getting off easy with MMA coming along when it did.

Can you imagine Conor dealing with that?

IDK the backstory to this but apparently Ariel was going to be working for Showtime Sports covering MayGregor. UFC specifically asked for him to be fired so they did so. Apparently Espinoza fought for him to stay but it was a NoGo.

UFC just so salty that Ariel is a journalist as opposed to their PR guy.

The NFL had ESPN sit on the concussion story, but I don't remember the major sports going after reporters for no particular reason.

The best part of Conor vs Mayweather starts today with the press conference. The press conferences and the trash talk before the fight is going to be much more entertaining then the actual fight.

The details are murky but didn't Ariel say during his explanation of events after his banning that Dana said something to him like we thought you were one of us or we thought you were on our side or some other weird sh*t like that? lol.

I don't expect Mayweather to talk much. He's been pretty laid back and he's not hungry anymore like when he fought De la Hoya. Conor can be pretty witty. He'll eat Floyd up from a trash talk point of view.

Mayweather talked a lot more than I had expected. It was a bit awkward and a bit forced but there's a few more press conferences to go so it will get better, it should get more nasty and hopefully it will get more natural.

I think most people suspected this was the case and based on today we can be almost certain that Floyd put clauses into the contract not allowing Conor (and presumably anyone formally associated with him) to discuss certain topics, primarily Floyd's domestic violence.

Floyd did a lot better than I expected lol. That comment by Mcgregor on the suit was hilarious and got him heated.

Best part easily today was the back and forth with Conor and Floyd Sr. That is Conor in his element. The main presser today was so forced and awkward. I will say one thing, Floyd put his foot in his mouth when he said he'd fight Conor with 4 ounce gloves. I think we all know it wasnt Conor's decision to wear 10 ounce gloves. Too bad they werent going to wear 4 ounce gloves, the fight would be a little more interesting if they did.

Conor should jump all p we that 4 ounce glove comment. There's still time to change it lol.
I'd kill to watch that...Conor might actually have a shot to win.
