People who dislike GSP always shift the goal posts on his greatness. Then, he goes and proves yet again that he's one of the GOATs and the goal posts shift again and the people he beats get downplayed.

To be fair, people have been calling Bisping a garbage champ from the second he KO'd Rockhold.

Ya GSP is my favorite fighter and I think he is the GOAT but I don't think too many people ever took Bisping as champ all that serious. I think most Bisping fans didn't think Bisping was the real champ. Here never fought the truly scary guys at 185 to get a shot at the belt, then it was clear as day Luke was way too cocky and just over looked the fight completely then they had him fight a 46 year old Dan Henderson who was 3 and 6 in his last 9 fights and only had a 1 fight win streak going into the fight. Bisping being champ never felt right.

Eh, I don't think anything shifted at all. This played out exactly how we expected it to if GSP went on to win. Despite GSP insisting that he was going to defend or fight at 185, we all knew he'd have every excuse in the world to not fight Whittaker once he was holding the belt.

Low and behold. Mr. Honesty, humble warrior who never backs down from a challenge.

I'm just happy this travestshamockery is over and we can finally get back to having the champion of a really good division be AT LEAST top 5 in that division.
