Still shocked that Overeem/Blaydes isn't on the main card (in Curtis' hometown). Joe/Pettis is a crazy fight to have on fightpass.

Should be a fun one. Shad-Lionheart, Serge-JoeJitsu, Do Bronx-Carpenter on the FP prelims speaks volumes. Also may be trying to sell ESPN-Plus subs in their infancy, if those are simulcast there too.

Lionheart is a big freaking dude. No idea how he made 185. Always fun to train with these types of guys.

And the best part of the night was Colby came in to workout afterwards. He does not look big at all.

RDA is at -120 right now. Seems like a strong bet.

Good bet IMO. Also, last I heard Whittaker was a pretty big favorite. Romero looked good in his last fight, granted he missed weight, and Whittaker hasn't fought in a year or whatever and is coming off a major injury, plus he only edged the first fight 3-2 (am I remembering that correctly?). I think RDA and Romero are okay bets.

He didn't roll with us at all but we got to watch him hit the pads and move around. I guess he doesn't really cut at all.

That's one thing I found interesting actually. I've heard him in the leadup to this fight call RDA LW fighting at WW as if Colby will have a huge size advantage. Honestly though Colby looks like a small WW to me. I doubt there will be some huge size difference.

I've never found Colby to be funny/clever at all. Not a fan. That said, him saying Jon Jones used to come home when they lived together in college roid raging like "COLBY WTF ARE YOU DOING, DO YOUR DISHES!" is pretty hilarious.

Colby to me is like one of those Family Guy jokes that go on for way too long. 30 seconds in you're asking yourself what is this, 1 minute into the cringy joke it's still going on and a chuckle comes out.

Everything about Colby is so forced and unnatural, but the dude has stuck with this schtick and I'm kind of starting to be entertained by it. I'm almost rooting for this guy to continue to climb higher on the mountain, just so his fall will be that much bigger and funner to watch.

I thought it was great he called Brazilian crowds on being savages, but it's been a lot more bad than good execution-wise. In the end he's getting rewarded for it however. Heard he was a nice guy, so this is not very natural to him. Chael is tapping in to part of his personality.

Colby has shown a willingness to even burn personal friendships in his pursuit of attention though, which even if he is a good guy, is a scummy thing to do IMO. He was really good enough friends with Jones at one point that he lived with him and flew him out to his home in OR to visit? And now he just starts attacking him due to the persona? I just don't get it.

That said, obviously its working for him and the UFC is reinforcing it like no other. He was on the prelims until this started, now is he fighting for a fake title.

Man, Punk looks terrible.

James Krause came through to teach a seminar and damn that was awesome.

We had Megan Anderson, Arlovski, Colby and Lionheart in the gym today. Lionheart asked if I was a wrestler (GREATEST COMPLIMENT EVER).

Megan Anderson is TALL and I might be on Embedded (in the background).

So who misses weight this time?

I'm ashamed to admit Colby is growing on me. If you don't take him seriously it's funny to laugh at him.

He's so obvious with it. Him saying he's going to bring the belt to Trump and whatnot...it's just an obvious troll move.
