I think 2018 Cejudo is the best opponent Johnson has in a looooong time. Henry has looked incredible.

TJ vs Cody... I have to be honest, I outright hope there is an injury. I do not want Cody to get a shot at revenge. Top douche in the sport.

Lol at Dillashaw and Mouse being on the same card. Such a bad look.

I wish DJ would move up a weight class. Getting tired of seeing him fight in rematches of fighters he clearly beat. Nothing left at 125, please move up DJ!

Dillashaw and Mouse on the same card is on purpose.
Dillashaw is the main event. If he wins, he's calling out Mouse and making it happen. Mouse will then be forced to do the presser with him and answer questions with TJ in building. It's forcing his hand. They are gonna make him take the tough fight.

IDK man he's been calling him out since summer of last year. First he wouldn't take the fight because TJ wasn't champ. Then TJ won the title and he wouldn't take the fight because he was injured. Now he's fighting on the same card.

Also, no guarantee both win although that's the likely scenario.

Mouse has no problem turning the fight down and putting some sort of spin on it. What video game move does he pull out this time over clearly overmatched opponents, since he's so much better than his division that he can choreograph photo finishes in the hopes that he'll get popular?

Of Mouses division, I am. It sucks. It should fold.

Mouse is an all time elite, but the bar has risen for goat status. Jones would be the goat if it wasn’t for roids. GSP now has belts in two divisions.
Mouse refused to fight a super fight against a guy who would go down to his division. That tarnished him for me. It’s one thing not to go up, that fair, but saying no to a guy coming down is cowardly.

Ya I'm always in amazement when I watch mouse. The dude is just on a clearly different level than everyone else at 125. But the issue is he doesn't have anyone to actually challenge him. The last time he went up against another top tier fighter he lost. It's one thing not to hop up in weight, but the fact he wasn't all for TJ coming down to fight him was horrible optics. 125 is a dead division right now.

I actually don't blame Mouse. He's making money while taking no damage. Why the hell would anyone fight TJ Dillashaw if they didn't have to lol. I'm a fan of his and I think Mouse is one of the GOATs in terms of skill. But in terms of accomplishments? Meh.

"Meh" is a relative term btw. He's one of the best but his title reign, despite being the longest ever, doesn't compare to the likes of GSP/Jones/Silva, etc. IMO.

Yeah, Dillashaw, in spite of being a lilliputian, effectively ruined Barao's career in one fight. He and Moraes are kind of pocket hercules'.

But Mighty Mouse has to take a chance if he's ever going to be a future legend and make bookoo bucks. You can't both play it safe and get all the things you may want.

This is an all time great fight and you mother truckers want to get rid of the division? Cejudo is a dynamic fighter and one of the greatest athletes to step into the cage. This is legit.

He lost to Cruz, sure. How many people are better than the GOAT of the next weight class up? And you think he'd prove something by beating TJ, even though Mouse has beat Dobson twice who beat TJ. Dobson, Benavidez, Cejudo are all great fighters. Sure he's fought his Tim Elliots and Chris Cariaso's. But Silvia fought his Lutters and Cotes. Half of Jones's title fights were against middleweights. Mouse's run is most closer to those guys then people like to think.

The last time these guys fought was only two years ago and it wasn't competitive. Cejudo is 2-1 since that time although I agree he has improved. I'm excited for the fight and won't write off Henry but all time great fight is hyperbole. At least going into the fight.

The first fight barely lasted two minutes! I wouldn't call a quick kill-strike a lack of competitiveness. It doesn't prove that Henry can't hang.

Cejudo easily won that Benevidez fight, the decision was bull.

Watch Henry fight. His skills are legit. He might get out-gameplanned, I'll grant, as his skills are pretty standard. But this is a super exciting, competitive fight.

I scored it for Henry too but it wasn't a robbery. MMAmedia scored it exactly the same for Joe/Cejudo, literally down the line the exact same number of cards for each guy.

I'm not counting Cejudo out vs DJ btw, I said that in this very thread before this conversation even started. My only point is that its hyperbole to call this an all time great fight when Cejudo is 12-2 and got starched the first time around which wasn't even that long ago.

And even if Cejudo was an all time great fighter, that still doesn't mean the division isn't terrible lol.
