Not at all surprised that fighters in this type of domain are friendly or even involved in that kind of ****. I can't imagine either of the people in this title fight could be considered "role models" for young people in any place that is about respect for all people.

But there are differences. Conor is a degenerate and a parody. He has no principles. Khabib's actual, deeply-held principles go hand-in-hand with oppression and brutality.

There are pieces from each of them that are totally admirable, and that should inspire. But they are different pieces. And there are pieces of each that are also totally reprehensible. But those are also different pieces.

Very well said and I agree. My perspective is slightly different and at a different angle though, and it is that the reprehensible aspects are not excused by either of their accolades or achievements or other factors. It is of far lesser benefit to the world generally to have good qualities marred by outrageously poor characteristics. But that is my value system. Great personal achievement, no matter what the context, is nothing with such poor qualities surrounding them.

I think if he gets more, it'll be because of the whole "the NV governor was there and had to rush out of the building thing".
