Damn, this is one of the worst events ever, let alone ppv's. They should cancel the ppv and switch it over to ESPN+. Or just put it on their app, like today's Bellator event. The recent ESPN+ cards have been more interesting.

How many fights has Whittaker had to drop out of now? Im a big fan of his, but it just seems like the dude is always injured.

UFC would gain a ton of good will from fans if they drop this thing down to ESPN+. This is not a PPV card. Adesanya is an up and coming star, but he isnt main event level yet and Silva has 1 win in his last 6 fights. The co main event is also a guy who has 1 win in his 6 UFC fights vs some dude Ive never heard of.

This is a historically weak card.

The Adesanya-Andy fight maybe should not even be sanctioned. They're dragging a half-dead lion out of a cave to be mauled by a virile youngster in his prime.

Uncle Dana should keep quiet about Chuck-Tito, if he's going to promote this kind of a fight.

Good will = throw some extra cash around and make it Kelvin vs Adesanya. That's a hot **** fight.

Hard to pull all of that now just a few hours before the actual event start, too many logistics involved and ESPN can’t just throw it on their broadcast schedule. Even when they switched the PPV to fox they had way more time

Ya way too many things to handle. But with that said, they already have ESPN production there and setup for the prelims. Also it shouldnt be too hard to just throw it on their ESPN+.

Again I know it wont happen, but I do think it would be possible to air it on ESPN+.

Whitaker is hurt more than any champion I can remember. I agree they should throw this on ESPN+ Izzy-SIlvia headlining.

It's late night and they can air different events at the same time on the internet. Return payment to everybody who actually purchased the ppv (all 4k of them).

isn't this the 2nd time he pulled out in his home country? UFC will need to put him on ESPN cards now until he can show he can make it to a fight.

I still think there's a chance that both Whitaker/Romero could be effed long-term due to the 10 rounds of war those two went through together. This is seemingly unrelated but who knows.

This is a historically bad UFC card, forget PPV.
