Thanks, I *was* going to do this in a couple of days, once we got close to the fights next weekend.

Glad no fights this weekend, a weekend off is nice.

EDIT: If 1 of them gets hurt I presume the co main becomes the main.

But what if one of the co main becomes hurt? Wonders how they will rearrange things then.

I’m going Kelvin for the interm title in that one.

I’m hoping For max, and I know he’s the favourite, but I can’t help but think he leaves so many openings that he is going to get caught sooner or later. Dustin has been on a crazy streak, he’s no slouch but gets looked at as one sometimes.
That’s going to be a war though, I’m super excited for it

The most interesting thing for me in this fight is to see what Max looks like at 155.
The guy cuts massive amounts of weight to get to 145. I want to see if he'll look strong enough to stuff a takedown or two from Khabib.

Feels like ESPN is forgetting something...

Maybe if there was a Bellator event or something, I love having at least one [main event] fight to look forward to once a week...it's the only time I ever gamble so it makes it that much more exciting, lol. The cards are definitely a lot weaker due to the saturation, but I find myself complaining less and less about it despite them getting worse and worse.

I especially hate having a week off before a big card only to have the fights fall through.

I'm rooting for an easy win Max so he can have a quick turnaround and fight Tony. A Tony vs Max fight would be insane.

Ya if Max can take little damage then Tony vs Max would be sweet

Does khabibs dirty work though knocking off a tough fight for him.

Max and Gastelum for me. Both by TKO.

Max has smarter footwork, uses his jab better, and while Poirier's punches have gotten much less loopy over time Holloway still throws sharper. Poirier isn't some sort of beast wrestler to control Holloway that way, nor does he kick well to effect Max when he's circling out. So I figure Max will be able to control where the fight takes place, on the outside and the feet, where he chips the diamond repeatedly until he breaks or is a tarnished gem of the 155 lb weight class.

I also favor Adesanya over Gastelum. He'll freeze up Gastelum and set him up for hits with his feints. Score and control distance w/ push/side kicks. Occasionally he's going to get inside and get control of Adesanya up against the fence. But he has tremendous balance, wrestling fundamentals to get unders and work that whizzer, and urgency, to stay up, turn and score again. It should have been Jacare with a chance at his first UFC title.

I'm going with Max and Adesanya.

How could you ever pick for/against Gastelum when it's not even clear what he does...other than win against much more spectacular opponents (i.e. everyone). He's some chubby guy who shifts weight very well. Doesn't kick, doesn't throw knees. Just throws punching combinations beautifully. For him to have gotten this far, why not add the belt?

I totally forgot about this with both the Leafs AND Raptors playing that took priority.

Tuning in now for the Jouban fight.

So glad to see Jouban lose. Also love seeing the true colors of Jouban come out. The dude is alway so full of himself. Dude just put up a very boring fight that I thought he clearly lost and throws a hissy fit after the decision. Cant stand the dude.
