I know he only fought once but kinda feels like Khabib is fighter of the year.

I considered him, but only one fight makes it tough. Khabib is an animal, no doubt. If others agree I can add him to the mix.

Figgy or Izzy. Figgy, IMO. Neither was in danger for even a moment in any fight. They each proved themselves dominant in their divisions.

I would tend to agree but for some being anointed the #1 P4P and being placed into the GOAT debate is enough. Or, who the best fighter is. Or someone could just say it was the most newsy fighter of the year (which I hope not because that'd be Conor ever year even if he didn't fight). There's lots of interpretations of "fighter of the year".

I'll go with Figgy. It's between him and Izzy, and Figgy was more active which is a huge factor for me.

How’s izzy getting votes over figgy? Insane. He destroyed costa, which was impressive. Then he just survived Romero. One of the worst fight ever. Didn’t want to engage at all. Romero fight was close too, even if terrible.
4 title fights for figgy. One draw due to nut kick. Entertaining and dominating.
