Nah, most of the level headed posters don’t post anymore because not everyone has time to post on a forum these days.

Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

I thought Loma swept the championship rounds, or at the very least won 3 out of the last 4, including a very clear 10th round which Moretti somehow scored for Haney.

Haney does not have the power or skills to beat Tank or Stevenson. Those two would beat him pretty convincingly IMO.

The 10th for Haney???? That was a blowout for Loma. Almost 10-8.

That was the 11th. 10 was clear Loma tho.
I thought Haney banked enough rounds in the 1st 8 rounds before Loma came on, the arm flurries he threw in the beginning didn't do anything for me. When he really started sitting on his punches he bothered Haney a lot. Loma himself admitted he threw away the 12th tho which gave Devin the fight on the cards

LOL. I love that Taylor and the Irish guy in the co-main both lost. This is a sport. There should be no match-ups designed to be easy home soil wins (or record builders).

Much busier back in the day, especially with big PPV fights.

Don't worry, "boxing fans", you'll still be able to complain about Pac vs Mayweather.

A big fight that boxing fans have actually been clamoring for finally gets made, and your initial response is to passive aggressively complain about fans being disappointed from a fight that happened 8 years ago? That’s just really weird… and you wonder why the discourse in here is dead.

You complained about that very fight a couple posts back.

Your reading comprehension is truly awful.

If you re-read the post I wrote, I stated which fights in recent memory got derailed due to boxing politics and egos. I listed other fights too, but for some reason you seem fixated on imaginary posters specifically complaining about Pac/Mayweather. Ain’t no one was complaining or ranting about that fight.

You are a strange dude. Perhaps find another straw man to rile you up.

The Irish having a rough couple of weekends in hometown set-ups!

Conlan moves beautifully, I'm sad to see that his pro career might not be fruitful. But I'm also happy anytime an 'opponent' gets their's in someone else's hometown.

Mungia vs Devy fight was an all out war ! great fight but I think Devy edged it out. Teofimo Lopez dominated Josh Taylor idk what was with that 115-113 scorecard. Good fights coming up

I’m surprised. Teo has not looked good in his past couple of fights, and he completely outclassed a top 10 consensus pound for pound fighter.

The talent was always there. It’s the mental aspect that was always inconsistent.

Love to see him against Regis Prograis.

I hated watching Teo style on lesser fighters as he was developing. It was just cruel. But, against an earnest opponent, that was beautiful. The defensive talent in exchanges, outside of range... everywhere. Really amazing to watch.

And that right hand is for real.

Excited by all the matchups at 140. He and Regis would be nuts.

Even when Josh Taylor was beating all those contenders at 140 I always thought he was overrated. Until recently 140 was not a good division as you see guys like Crawford make brief stops or simply skip over it and go to 147. Taylor beat Baranchyk who turns out to be an average fighter. Good win against Prograis. Fought dirty against Ramirez and in my opinion likely would've lost to him had the ref been more fair. Teo fought much better competition at 135 and is simply a better caliber fighter and pretty much dominated Taylor.

One more thing about Josh Taylor. After the fight he said that he felt drained fighting at 140 and would like to move up to 147. I think that's a terrible idea for him and he should just consider retirement if he can't make the weight. If Taylor couldn't hurt Teo at 140 and actually got hurt by Teo, what would happen to Taylor if he fought natural 147 guys like Jaron Ennis and Vergil Ortiz.

He could make a good living within Europe never having to face those monsters, though. I mean, no one else is willing to fight them, why should he?

Canelo moving on from Bivol, thank God. Both fighters have short windows left, this would have been a huge waste
