Anyone Care about the Manny Pacquiao-David Diaz fight?


Obvious that Pacquiao should win easily but i give David Diaz a slim punchers chance. Anyways the undercard is just OK.

Humberto Soto Vs Francisco Lorenzo
Vacant WBC Super Featherweight Title
This should be exciting. Soto we all know comes to fight, and Lorenzo who has been a Telefutura fighter his whole career, gets his FIRST World Title shot, so you can bet he will let it all out. He has had a weird career. UD 10 L to Juan Diaz and a SD W over Nate Campbell. Odd?

Steven Luevano Vs Mario Santiago
WBO Featherweight Title
Santiago was a Puerto Rican Prospect who was shot down by Mexican Veteran Hector Velasquez in his Last fight. Other than that i do not know too much about him, but look for this to be a technical boxing match with Luevano winning all the rounds.

Tye Fields Vs Monte Barrett
10 Round Heavyweight Attraction
Fields has always been a joke to me, fighting D level Competition. He is stepping up against Monte Barrett who is about a B level fighter. I think this should end in a stoppage. Only interest in this fight is to see if Fields is legit and to see a nice KO. Winner unfortunately will probably get a title shot.

I give Diaz a better shot in this fight than most though I still believe Pacquiao is the favorite. One thing's for sure, if you watch the fight, you'll be entertained. Pacquiao has been the most entertaining fighter of the past 5 years.

It is going to be a tuff fight for the Pac-man but I thought that Morales beat Diaz. I am just scared due to the fact that Diaz is the naturally bigger guy. I believe in the last fight in the undercard of Pac-man/Marquez he walked into his fight at 150. Pac-Man started his career at 108.

It is a solid undercard by the way thanks to Arum.

The Humberto/Soto/ Pancho Lorenzo is for Manny's old belt... I was disspointed in Soto in his last fight so I am going to say that Lorenzo will get out the UD.

Luevano should win his fight without too much difficultly.

Tye Fields... he has the power and should win. Barrett has looked horriable ever since his fight with the 7 foot hairy Russian where he was out gunned against the big man. I say KO within 6 rounds.

I think they didnt give Morales the decision since he was retiring. David Diaz couldn't beat a Shot Morales convincingly so i doubt he beats Pacquiao unless he some how knocks him out. I hope Pacquiao fights Marquez for a third time since i felt Marquez won the 2nd. Anyways Tye Fields has been a joke to me, reminds me of how Arum was trying to hype butterbean like he was something, i wonder if he gets exposed

I hope that Marquez wins vs Casamayor in order to have another Ring title championship showdown with PacMan.

I thought he won the first fight, and I had 6 round a piece but pacman had the knockdown and thus the W. I hope Marquez eventually gets a W vs him.
