Pretty remarkable considering he wasn't in most folks' top ten list before last night. He should also probably be a middle weight.

I'm fine with that. Chuck was going to get a title shot if he won, and Rashad KTFO'd him.

Which, I'll say, is more impressive than anything Machida has done in the UFC, and Machida is really the only other guy who should be considered for a shot at this point (maybe Rampage considering how that fight went down).

Rashad is undefeated too, and as for his fight with Tito, people say if Tito didn't get that point taken away, he would have won. Well, if Tito didn't grab the fence, he would have been slammed, probably lost the round, and the fight.

The December 27 show is the best spot for this fight, as that show could use a bit more starpower, although TUF and Lesnar/Couture will probably stir up some interest in Nogueira vs. Mir.

Ridiculous. This isn't boxing, fluke KOs can happen in MMA. Guys swing like maniacs and exchange. That was one.

So Rashad has had 17 flukes? That's one lucky guy!

LOL at people calling that a fluke. Rashad was top ten before the fight.

Rashad's hands are just insanely fast. Chuck was throwing like a maniac and exchanging too.

Yep. Rashad has always had really fast hands. The thing he's been missing has been power. If last night wasn't a fluke KO, Rashad will be a really scary fighter. Especially if he ends up at middle weight like he should.

It's not like Rashad was trying to punch Chuck in the leg and it accidentally hit him in the face.

It was a well placed shot right on the button, and Chuck went down.

That was his 4th ever KO.

The guy drew with Tito Ortiz.

whats your point? chuck hasnt knocked someone out in like 2 years. if he KO'd Evans would it be a valid KO? or a fluke?

yeah, Chuck Liddell knocking someone out would have been a fluke.

Machida would destroy Evans. I think they should have a number one contender match between those two. Lyoto is so underrated.

All Machida does is punch and run, not fun to watch at all... I want to see what he can do going toe to toe with someone. Until he does that he wont be a big draw in the UFC no matter how long he remains undefeated.

All Evans did last night was punch and dance. But I guess that's "fun to watch"...

Machida's not underrated. Everyone knows he's good, he's just kind of boring, so noone cares.

There's no need for Evans to fight Machida. He's undefeated. He just knocked out Chuck Liddell. The time is right.

Besides, if Evans and Machida were tied up in a number one contender fight, who would fight Forrest in the meantime?

Rampage. Okay, I know he has to earn it, but no one deserves a rematch more than he does.

If Rashad does end up getting the title shot, it should at least be Machida vs Jackson with the winner facing the champion.

Forrest vs Rashad works perfectly. There are a lot of interesting matchups that can happen.

Then we can have
Machida vs T. Silva for #1 (still waiting for confirmation on his injury)
W. Silva vs Rampage
Chuck vs Shogun
Jardine vs Franklin
Vera vs Soko

So that means his other 13 wins were flukes of another variety? I wish I had such luck.

Yeah. Forrest vs. Rashad is happening, so we might as well just talk about what other matchups can happen at LHW.

If Thiago Silva is out of his fight with Machida, I'd love to see Wandy take his place. I was looking forward to seeing how Machida copes with an aggressive striker in Thiago Silva, and Wanderlei would offer the same thing, only better.

If not, then they might as well do Rampage vs. Wandy.

Chuck vs. Shogun would work well now. Both guys could probably use a tune up fight, but with the LHW division being so stacked, it would be tough to do. I wouldn't mind seeing Franklin fight either of those guys either.

Vera is already fighting Jardine at UFC 89.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

It sounds like T. Silva is out. So here are other matchups to consider.

If Rampage can avoid jailtime and work out some sort of early plea bargain, then I say pit him against Machida. The winner of that faces the winner of Griffin/Evans. Otherwise it might be too risky pushing Rampage back into a LHW title fight.

Put Vera against W. Silva. That would be fun to watch.

Some people are saying Liddell vs Franklin is a no-brainer. Franklin is looking to move up, Liddell needs to redeem himself. Plus it is a guaranteed money maker.

Soko has beef with Shogun I guess, so that again seems like a no-brainer.
