3 super fights. Good god!
I got Rashad, Big Nog and Wandy winning. Forrest's cinderella year is about to end.

That's a pretty sick card at the top. Almost too good for UFC standards, but a good show over NYE weekend should be a priority.
Can't wait to see the betting odds for this show. I don't usually bet (mostly because I can't seem to find a good online sportsbook that has all of the fights and is available in Canada), but I think I'll have to put some money down on Big Nog. Hopefully all of the attention Mir has gotten lately will drive his odds up, because Big Nog should be a massive favourite in this fight.
Griffin vs. Evans is tough to call, but I'm leaning toward Rashad.
Rampage vs. Silva is even tougher. Looking at their history, it should be a vicious KO victory for Silva, but this isn't Pride. Rampage has improved a lot since then, and I believe the UFC environment helps him in this fight (rules, cage, crowd, etc). I just wonder if Wandy is in his head by this point, or if he even has enough room in there right now with all of the other stuff going on.
Okami vs. Lister is going to be a snoozefest. Don't know why they would make that fight.
I hate Kongo and don't really want to see him fight. I really just don't want to see his stupid fist pump thing.
Fart face should be able to handle Rivera, but it's a tough fight for him. Could be good.
Don't know who Brad Blackburn is, so I'm going to give Chonan the nod in that one.

need a good WW or LW fight or two
most of the other fights have a clear favorite. Rampage should beat Silva, Nog can't possibly lose to Mir.

Yeah, surely they can throw us a half decent WW or LW fight.
Most of the top WW guys are booked up, but I think Karo (just signed a new 8 fight contract by the way), Fitch, Marcus Davis, Burkman, Kim, Lytle, and maybe a few other guys are available. It would be nice to finally see Karo vs. Fitch, but that might be a bit too high profile to realistically be on this card.
At LW, I can think of Huerta (who may or may not be involved in a Vera/Arlovski-eqsue freeze-out), Guida, Diaz, Danzig, and Lauzon who aren't booked in an upcoming fight. Even Manny Gamburyan, though he might want to think about the 145 division in the WEC.

Sports Interaction typically has lines for every UFC fight, even the ones that aren't televised. They usually only have lines up for the main event until closer to fight night. I'm not quite sure why...maybe they don't want to give the scrubs too much time to plan a dive.
They're based in Canada, so I can't see availability in Canada being an issue. I'm not an expert when it comes to online sportsbooks since they're the only one I've used. But I've never had a problem during the 7 years I've been betting there, so I've never felt the need to use another one.

Pretty bold to say no way anybody beats Jorge Rivera, let alone CB.
Care to elaborate?

Rivera will try to do something stupid to impress the crowd and lose.
That seems to be his M.O
For a guy who is a coach, you'd think he'd be better at sticking to a game plan.

Rivera is too savvy a veteran to lose to CB. CB is too raw.

I would love to see Karo v Kim. I would like to see Kim redeem himself after that sub par performance, and if he gets a win over Karo then that could set him up for some more big name fights. I also think Karo would bring alot of excitement to the fight. Though i dont think he would win.

Rivera only has two submission wins on his record. CB will wrestle him to the ground, and keep him there. CB by decision.

Yeah, that would be a fight I'd like to see. A big test for Kim, but one I feel he would have a chance at winning. Karo would definitely be the favourite though.
I heard Kim would be getting a really tough guy in his next fight, so something like this could be in the works.

I think this is a very solid fight card so far. Probably one of the best the UFC has put out. I also agree with the opinion that this card needs a lightweight fight. The only problem is that most of the top lightweight guys are tied up(Penn, Sherk, Griffin, Florian, Stevenson, Aurelio, Franca). I'd like to see someone like Clay Guida or Nate Diaz added to the card.

I was thinking those two guys matching up would make sense and could possibly happen.

Well CPT, looks like you got your wish. Watching the last fight night, it just kinda seemed obvious. But it's not on this card. Maybe they can get Mac Danzig on this card against someone like Gray Maynard?

Yeah, I heard that too. Guida vs. Diaz on the TUF 8 finale. I thought that show already had a main event though. Not that it's really a main event level fight, but for those free TV events, it is.
Danzig vs. Maynard would be cool.
Really, just any reasonable matchup at one of the lighter weight classes and I'll be happy.

i love the ufc lw division. although most top level fights always go to the judges, it's by far my favorite. better than lhw & ww, imo. there's a few guys i'd like to see bj beat before he moves up. for sheer entertainment and high stakes, if nothing else.
