I don't think elbows are allowed, only forearms. Those aren't slashing, those are concussive. And they made reference to no "forearms" on the ground.
Weird. Colorado?

We barely got elbows legalized in AZ last month. EVO MMA was the 1st UFC rules fight we've ever had and that was at the beginning of this month.
