I have a lot of respect for Kenny and how much he's improved, but I have this feeling that BJ is just going to run through him and leave me thinking "why did I ever think this fight would be close?"

Except that GSP did get vasolined. I could care less about this dumb vasoline crap, but it did happen and BJ has every right to want his opponent to play by the rules, regardless of whether it would have changed the outcome.

For the record, I think GSP would have rolled Penn regardless, but all these people who make it sound like Penn is this whiney crybaby are way off base.

If your basketball team played Orlando and lost by 13 only to find out Turkoglu should have been ineligible for the game, you would be pissed off. Even if very likely you would have lost anyways. It is not about winning or losing, but fairness.

I don't waste much time with this vasoline thing because it is beating a dead horse. I don't think GSP meant to cheat and I don't think it changed the outcome, but it did happen and at the end of the day, the fighter has to answer for his entire corner.

I never said he meant to cheat. Just like you said in above post BJ has every right to want his opponent to play by the rules. It wasn't GSP's fault and I know that. It was his corner. BJ deserves to have a fair fight with GSP for the title, GSP should man up and give BJ a rematch.

GSP would give BJ a rematch, the question is will Dana and does the public want it? I personally have little interest in seeing them fight again. I want BJ to stay at 155.

Can we give it a rest with the vaseline **** already? Or at least keep it confined to threads about that issue?

BJ should just concentrate on getting a few successful LW title defenses before even thinking about GSP again. I really hope that the vaseline thing will allow him to just file the loss away like it didn't happen and forget about it, instead of using it as a reason to pursue a rematch.

As for this fight, I think Florian could bathe in vasoline and I'd still have BJ as the favourite.
