Anderson Silva going back to 205 to fight Forrest Griffin

Fight is day before my b-day

I thought Silva's next fight would be vs Hendo/Bisping winner.

Wow, I thought this was a mistake, but it looks like the Forrest vs. Anderson Silva fight is for real.

The Thiago Silva vs. GSP thing is still pretty funny though.

It sucks, man. What is the UFC thinking? I don't think Anderson's comeback fight (so to speak) needs Forrest's name to be sold. All this does is give Forrest two KO losses in a row. Meanwhile Thiago was the perfect opponent. Big and scary, technically weak, and with a style that could give Forrest a KO.

Thales Leites has stepped in to replace Rousimar Palhares against Alessio Sakara at UFC 101, it has been reported.

The Brazilian middleweight accepted the UFC's offer of the match this afternoon, according to InTheGuard.tv

"What is most important is getting back to fighting as soon as possible", Leites told the Brazilian news portal. "I know that I didn't fight well, that things didn't go as I wanted against Anderson Silva, so nothing is better than starting again.

No way do i see Forrest winning this fight. The guy is a warrior, but I dont see him beating Silva.

I actually think Florian is the kind of fighter who can give BJ a lot of problems. He can win this fight, but I have a hard time picking against BJ at 155.

I just think this fight is too important for BJ to lose. More important than the GSP fight even. Losing to Florian damages his legacy majorly. I see BJ making a statement in this one.

Forrest was just the champ. His game's pretty high.
I still don't think he over reached with the title win, but he's solid and always entertaining.

Im interested to see Amir finally fight. Will he pull the pattened, get his ass kicked for 3 rounds and pull out a sub last second? Or will he actually show some skill?
