Huerta vs. Maynard is the much better fight. No idea why that is not the main event.

Yeah, should be good. Guillard will be a tuff fight for Diaz, Melvin is big for 155 and Nate is so lanky.

Pretty much. Huerta has this one fight left on his deal and he said he is not re-signing with the UFC. He wants to try becoming a movie star.

I think Huerta vs. Maynard is the more important fight, but Diaz vs. Guillard will probably be more entertaining.

Maynard is probably one fight away from a title shot if he beats Huerta. I'd say it's important.

The fight night cards are the bomb, its like a showcase for gatekeepers but the match ups are awesome. Diaz/Melvin is going to be good, Melvin is a gamer so I'm sure we'll get to see Diaz's hands for once. Huerta/Maynard is looking good aswell, if the fight is a Huerta's pace its FOTN, if its at Maynards LNP yawner.

That's what I'm thinking.

While I have a hard time believing they will put Maynard in the main event or co main event of a PPV, if he wins this fight, the guy will be 6-0 in the UFC, 8-0 overall, with wins over Edgar, Clementi, Miller, and then Huerta. Considering Edgar has one of the best cases for a title shot and Maynard holds a win over him, I think he's looking pretty good.

He could get the title shot just with this win if other things go his way.

Im actually really interested to see Diaz vs Guillard.
Both are fighters i love to hate.

That will win fight of the night. Melvin does not want to go to the ground with Diaz. Diaz would murder him, and Diaz really wants a striking match.

This is gonna be good. I love free cards.

Yeah Huerta vs Maynard should headline...especially if its Huerta's last match. I hope he comes back eventually, the lightweight division needs competition. Pretty much every division needs more impact fighters except for light heavyweight.

Brian Stann and Steve Cantwell will fight for the third time on this card. They fought in WEC twice, with each fighter winning once.

I got Cantwell in this trilogy.

Yeah, they are going in different directions now. Cantwell is going to completely outclass him, IMO.

This is the show that leads into the TUF 10 season premiere right?
