This prolly means Fedor and Vitor to the UFC. Silver lining.

Affliction, congrats on being the new EliteXC.

Thought this might happen after Barnett tested positive and no one to fight Fedor.

Monson was ready, willing and able to fight Fedor. Straight up BS. Affliction is done.

Monson, Belfort, Brett Rodgers, Lashley, and Don Frye all expressed interest in fighting Fedor on short notice. Not sure why they would cancel the card.

Except for Belfort and possibly Monson, Fedor would quickly beat the others.

Think Affliction will ever be back in the UFC now? We know how Dana holds onto his grudges.

Hell, this could be the nail in the coffin for the whole company.

I think you are severely underselling Rodgers and Lashley here.

Maybe Lashley, I've seen a few of Rodgers fights most recently vs Arlovski. Rodgers has some great hands and deadly KO power, but Fedor would/could beat him.

In fariness this just show's how bad a state the organisation was in, they basically hinged on Fedor for each event. They were "stacked" but "stacked with the same fighters. Its like saying a team is deep, but only as long as you don't look past the first 3 players.

They had a decent amount of good fighters, but only one guy who could sell a PPV.

Is Strikeforce on that tombstone?
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
