in case anybody missed it, the video to the fight is posted above.
I still cant believe that Kimbo did so bad. It was a waste of time watching that fight IMO.

Why would it come as a surprise that a guy that could hang with AA would beat Kimbo?

Im interested to see how Kimbo looks when this is all said and done though. If he will have improved any.

Rumor is he improves a lot.
I think he also gets another fight.

One of the guys from the show said in an interview, when asked How did Kimbo's ground game look, he replied about it being non existent at the start, but dramatically improved by the end of the show...'you'll see'.

I was a huge Kimbo hater, but i think i've changed my tone on him because of his attitude.
The fact that he's so humble about it all, makes me not hate the guy.
He was a myth, but that was due to his idiot fan boys and an organization struggling to stay a float needing a prize horse to show to the public.

With that said, His punches looked hard. Enough that Roy didn't want to test them anymore and just lay on him on the ground.

Via... BE.com Btw, the best MMA website there is in my opinion.

Kimbo says he will beat Nelson if he gets another fight with him. The former International Fight League champ was the only guy left on Rashad Evans' team that would've beat him:

"When he picked me to fight Roy, I felt like, okay, anyone of his other guys, he knows I probably would've beaten them hands down. They probably wouldn't be able to hang with me. Hands down Kimbo would probably mop everybody else."

Reeks of modesty...

Kimbo comes off as a pretty normal guy who occasionally falls back into a persona that came with the "beating dudes up at a barbecue" job. Maybe the inverse is true and he's a tool who's working the "hardworking father" angle because he can't be the scariest guy in the room in the UFC. Regardless his ground game is still obviously terrible considering that Nelson was underwhelming on the ground (when of course he's actually very good on the ground and would probably look perfectly competent if he had to) and Slice was still completely at his mercy. On the other hand everyone else in the house is really awful so maybe Kimbo could beat them.
