I see Taylor tiring late and get KO or win a decison

Dirrell will put on his running shoes and outpoint Froch

This is the best thing to happen to boxing in the past few decades. Legitimate contenders committing to face eachother in the ring, with little regard to "protecting" their records. I think you can thank mma's rise for this.

I like Abraham by KO in the first fight.

I'll actually go with Dirrell by decision in the second fight.

Wow, what happened to Jermain Taylor?? This guy is turning into a bum. Hasn't been the same since getting destroyed by Pavlik twice.

Being on the road works against Andre Dirrell as he is cheated out of a win.

Abraham did well for his first fight at 168, definitely one of the favorites to win this thing. Taylor has a concussion and might pull out of the competition, at least thats the word from Dan Rafael.

Froch/Dirrell was not a good fight to watch. I had it a draw, Froch should've been deducted a point as well. I know Dirrell didn't want to get into it with Froch for the entire fight but I thought when he did, he landed some good shots and showed a lot of skill.

Final fight of the first stage is on November 21st in Oakland, CA with Andre Ward taking on Mikkel Kessler, who is probably the favorite to win the whole tourney.

Super Six resumes on Saturday night with Andre Ward vs Mikkel Kessler in Oakland(also a title fight for Kessler's belt), which is the final fight of stage 1. Stage 2 will happen early next year.

I'm pulling for Ward but I see Kessler taking a UD in this one.

I can't believe how bad Kessler looked. Ward's style definitely gave him fits. Just a completely different Andre Ward from even last year. I know his last fight was a tuneup but I noticed something different about him than previous fights. Seemed more agressive and wanting to take that next step.

Stage 2 begins in January with Arthur Abraham vs Andre Dirrell. The fight will be in the U.S. but they are not sure where. Other fights in Stage 2 are Mikkel Kessler vs Carl Froch and Andre Ward vs Jermain Taylor.

Taylor has a chance of a lifetime to get a title after back to back knockout losses vs Ward.

Kessler looked like crap... Is it just me or did he look soft?

I thought he looked a little soft. Although not bad enough to completely explain the beat down. I was cheering for Kessler but him going down just made the tournament a lot more interesting.
Who does everyone think is the favorite now?

I'd go Abraham.

Wow, I think Taylor is pretty much done. Maybe fight Miranda ?

Never saw Dirrell, he did pretty good vs Froch.

I'm shocked Kessler lost to Ward. IMO Kessler was the favorite, now maybe Abraham ?

Andre Dirrell DQ 11 over Arthur Abraham.

Good performance by Dirrell, whose size and reach bothered Abraham. Dirrell knocked down Abraham in the 4th but Abraham's balance was a bit off, still a good shot though.

Here's round 11:

I think Dirrell was kinda milking it... but I am no dr.

Very late... and assholish interview by Abraham even after he saw the replay.

I don't know, that was a solid punch by Abraham.

Cole made the right call but he wasn't good last night like always. I think he missed an Abraham KD in the middle of the fight, forgot what round.

Yeah, really tough to call on the reality of that. Eee. His confusion after the fight seemed genuine, if nothing else.

Dirrell had previously gone after Abraham while he complained to the ref with his hands down. He had, he told the announcers, planned to go after Abraham anytime he did that. It means he was willing to win without honor. And I know boxing coaches are willing to coach milking fouls like that, unfortunately.

IDK.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.
