Location: Osaka Castle Hall
Venue: Osaka, Japan
Broadcast: HDNet (North America)

* Alistair Overeem vs. James Thompson
* Zelg Galesic vs. Kazushi Sakuraba
* Tokimitsu Ishizawa vs. Katsuyori Shibata
* Champ Marius Zaromskis vs. Myeon Ho Bae (welterweight non-title fight)
* Keisuke Fujiwara vs. Tomoya Miyashita
* Tarec Saffiedine vs. Yoon Dong Sik*
* Chase Beebe vs. Yoshiro Maeda
* Eddie Alvarez vs. Katsunori Kikuno
* Kuniyoshi Hironaka vs. Won Sik Park

No topic for this yet, but this event is today, and has some decent fights. Or at least some decent fighters. It's also interesting because it is the first time Dream (or any other big Japanese organization, as far as I know) will use a cage.

It will be good to see Overeem, Zaromskis, and Alvarez in action, even if it's against subpar opponents (although Kikuno's not bad). I was looking forward to Filho vs. Yoon Dong-Sik, but it sounds like Filho went crazy again and had to pull out at the last minute. Maybe the Donger can actually get a win. I think Chase Beebe vs. Yoshiro Maeda should be a good fight. Sakuraba vs. Galesic is an interesting matchup....I hope Sakuraba doesn't get KO'd again, but Galesic could definitely do it.

Super weak. They've got 4-5 interesting fighters but in dumb match-ups. James Thompson???

I love Gelesic, the guy was cool as **** in the GP a year ago. But Sakuraba's the last guy I want to see get schooled. And Saku fought previously like 2 weeks ago.

Alvarez vs Kikuno is the only real legit fight.

Beebe vs Maeda maybe.

I loved Maedas fight against Torres, but I think Beebe takes this one.

I dont know why everyone thinks this card is weak, some good fighters on the card, albeit in inferior matches, but isnt that the staple of japanese MMA? Im actually excited to see Alvarez, and Zaromski fight. And that is wierd that Sakuraba is fighting again in such a short period of time, but how can you not watch a legend. I think the only non-UFC event you will like is the upcoming CBS fight card then.

My favorite part was when AO did his best Vince Carter impersonation.

He is a freaky athlete. I would love to see him in the UFC. I'd even settle on Strikeforce.
