Last I heard he was supposed to fight Jake Shields, but that was nixed. I haven't heard too much since then. The dude is insanely entertaining. Anyone have any info?

He fought Jake Shields and lost. I have not heard when he fights again.

I thought I saw him cornereing king Mo last night.

I completely missed that. I'll admit I don't keep up with the other organizations as much as I'd like. Wish Mayhem would sign with UFC again, but I doubt they'd let him pull all his crazy antics, especially since they're trying to get more mainstream notoriety (although I personally think he would be perfect for that if he kept his craziness in check).

I doubt that happens, he fought once in UFC and lost to GSP.

Ya, he already fought Jake Shields for Cung Le's Middleweight belt. He lost by scorecard, but I thought he should have won. He almost submitted Shields too with a choke before the round ended.

Not the worst fighter in the world to have a L chalked up to though. And if memory serves correctly, Mayhem wasn't a complete pushover for GSP either. I remember his entrance was hilarious/crazy as all hell that fight. Miller is one of those guys that I think if he really really dedicated himself to fighting and took it as serious as a guy like GSP, could be a top contender. But then Mayhem just wouldn't be Mayhem.

His fighting style and persona is better suited to anything but UFC although it would be nice to see him fight against the top guys and see how well he stacks up. I bet he's top5 UFC MW material but not championship caliber.
