Re: Pacman/Clottey at Cowboys stadium ....
Clottey comes in at or around 170 at fight night for a 147 fight. Whoever thinks this is a walk in the park for Pacquiao is wrong. Right now, I expect Pacquiao to win by decision though.

Re: Pacman/Clottey at Cowboys stadium ....
Yeah go to ESPN's boxing page, they have a poll up on this fight. 60% of 6,000 people think Pacman will KO Clottey. I'm sure most of those people do not follow boxing. I think this will be a great fight, and Clottey could be a tougher opponent for Pacman.
Clottey has good defense(Not as good as Floyd) and could KO Manny. Clottey will be the much bigger fighter of the two. IMO Clottey could have beat Margarito had he not broken both hands. That is a problem for Clottey, he has broken his hand/hands before.

Clottey's fairly slower than Cotto though so I expect Pacquiao to land some good punches and get out in time for Clottey's retaliation.

This will definitely increase Pacquiao's growing celebrity status. Interesting though that Jerry Jones has lowered the expectations to 40,000 fans starting. Hopefully the entire stadium is packed.

I think it might be on regular HBO WCB.

Pacquiao-Diaz, Pacquiao-Barrera II...even Pacquiao-Solis was on PPV. It sucks, but this is probably where it's headed whether HBO or Top Rank decides to host the PPV.
Hey, check this out.

Margarito is returning on the fight's undercard.
With Mayweather confirmed to also be fighting on March 13, I have to wonder where the regular HBO crew will go. Who's going to get Buffer, Lampley, Steward, and Merchant? Will there be a second commentating team of Max Kellerman, Bob Papa, and Lennox Lewis? Does HBO support both shows?

One of the options is that HBO might pass on both and GB and Top Rank will produce their own PPV's.
I want to say the last 8 Pacquiao fights have been all PPV.

Re: Pacman/Clottey at Cowboys stadium ....
Pacquiao is too expensive to put on WCB. He hasn't fought there in almost 5 years.
It looks like Top Rank is putting together a pretty good undercard. It's hard to imagine that HBO would pass up an opportunity for a showcase event at Cowboys Stadium that will get tons of coverage, even though it's not Pacquiao-Mayweather. But Top Rank has put together their own PPVs before. They did it with the Pavlik fight and they've done it for Pacquiao in his fight against Solis.
Also, De La Hoya and Schaefer basically own Ross Greenburg (the president of HBO Sports), plus they have no experience putting together a PPV on their own. If GBP were smart, they'd back off March 13th and try to put together Mayweather-Mosley for May or June, but no one involved wants to look like they're afraid of going head-to-head with Arum and Pacquiao.
It will be interesting who HBO chooses.

If HBO PPV chooses one, I think they would take Pacquiao-Clottey. It looks like Mayweather could fight Cintron or Malignaggi. I think the more attractive matchup is Pac-Clottey.
That would leave GB doing their own PPV. They have done their own PPV's before, just not as much experience as Top Rank. They had some Lightweight PPV in April which was a really good card and I think they put together Casamayor-Marquez in 08.

Timothy Bradley has Gary Shaw / Showtime as his promoter, so if HBO goes with Pac/JOshua there's an extra reason for Bradley.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.
