Arizona Combat Sports shakeup? (paging El Hardee!)

Post#1 » by CPT » Thu Mar 18, 2010 11:27 pm

http://www.mmamadness.com/2010/03/break ... at-sports/

Based on information received from sources close to the situation, Ryan Bader, CB Dolloway and Aaron Simpson have left Arizona Combat Sports.

Simpson responded via text, stating, “It’s all up in the air right now. I can’t say exactly, but I’m hoping to have news in a couple of weeks.”

The move by the three UFC competitors and Arizona State alums comes at a curious time as all are coming off the biggest wins of their careers. Bader defeated Keith Jardine via third round TKO at UFC 110, Dolloway took home a unanimous decision that same night against Goran Reljic and Simpson defeated Tom Lawlor at UFC Fight Night 20 in January.

Simpson was the assistant coach at Arizona State University while Bader, Dolloway and UFC heavyweight contender Cain Velasquez attended the school.

Apparently they will be heading to AKA to train with Cain Velasquez and co.

Also, Jamie Varner has been posting things on his twitter like "CB. Dolaway is a bitch!"

Hardee, got any insight on what's going on at AZCS?

I talked to Bader yesterday and he didnt say anything about it, but we arent that close. I did notice that while Bader was working with the AZCS strength trainers, one of the guys said "what is he still doing here" refering to Bader. Also all of pics of Bader/CB have been taken down in the gym. I also spoke with one of the Lallys after Varners lost and he was telling me he felt stabbed in the back by his guys. Well I guess this all makes sense now. I didnt train today, will find out the whole scoop tommorrow.

Ditto, he's a little bitch. I wish he beat B Henderson, because I would have loved to see Cerrone kick his ass and take his belt. If Varner were in UFC, he would have been cut from roster long ago.

I agree that Varner acts like a douche, the whole gym knows that. To call him a "B" is way out of line, he is one tuff hombre. I know you would never say that to his face, especially at my gym when dudes get out of line we handle it on the spot. We may not be the best around but we aint no "B"s.

If someone over does it while rolling then someone tougher will takem next. If someone acts cocky they'll all their next spars WILL be on kill status wether the cat is ready or not. I've seen cats settle beef about girls on the mat and that particular incident we had to step in before someone got their leg broke. My 1st time sparring I was being cocky because of my boxing/street fighting background so they slipped in Tim Mckenzie( a pro) in there and he dislocated my jaw, that was in my 1st month training there. We do not tolerate disrespect in our gym, if it happens then its settled on the mat. Even drilling technique too hard will get you jacked it happens all the time.

Example numero dos, we have fools from other gyms come in all the time ,cool. But when guys join our gym and wear for instance their Lions Den gear they will get destroyed, I personally love to crush fools from other gyms that come in thinking they are bad. Call me immature or growing up in L.A. as a gangmember but I love to smash disrespectful idiots, and most of the dudes in the gym that been there for awhile feel the same. Thats why our shirts say "Arizona Combat Killer". We dont play.

What are you laughing about?

Thx CPT, some of these cats out there just dont understand how much it takes to be a well rounded mixed martial artist, if a cat like Nem21 came into our gym he would never act that cocky again. It wouldnt even me putting the smash, we would probably let a newb hurt her. Her post count would go down having 2 broken arms..... JK dude no harm no foul.

It's interesting. The only way a group can manage that many alpha dudes is if it ruthlessly punishes any individual egos.

I'm laughing at at guy talking **** and acting tough from behind a computer, where did I say I want to fight Varner ? :dontknow: The guy is a douche bag and little bitch, he was avoiding Cerrone cuz he knew he would get his ass kicked. El hardee is his man or something because he took it to personal and got offended by what I said. I'm not the only one that dislikes Varner and the way he acts.

See this dude is taking it way to personal, he must be Varner's boyfriend or something. Again he is talking **** from behind a computer.

El hardee, I'm not trying to start anything with you, but you took my comments to personal and then attacked me with what you say from behind a keyboard. You did not need to say what you said on page one.
