Your Experience------Moment

Post#1 » by pduh01 » Tue May 26, 2009 1:12 am

Hey everyone was-sup? This thread is about your experience to wrestling events you have went in person events like house shows, pay per views, televisions, and etc.

I tell you mines....

I have went lot of house show events and only one television event which was WCW Monday Nitro at the time when WCW was around.

I remember back in the 90s I was sitting front row I was a kid when I beleive I was 12 I think or maybe a bit younger. But anyways when Ric Flair was the WWF champions(at the time WWE was called WWF.) he went in the ring and I got him attention saying "HEY FLAIR MR PERFECT IS GOING TO BEAT YOU THIS MONDAY ON RAW." Which Flair is schedule to wrestle Curt Henning on RAW in a loser leave town match but anyways he hear me he look at me for a little bit and give me a smirk look.

Another moment is that same event when Curt Henning was schedule to wrestle Shawn Michael for the IC title he went in the ring introduce and he spit his gum almost hit my foot  Some lady who sit next to my mom got a napkin and pick up the gum for a suviorneer

The most recent house show event I went was last night some good moments which some are funny.

This one cool moment Rey Mysterio Jr. did some signature Eddie Guererro taunt after his match against Chris Jericho(Which was a solid bout by the way.). It was emotional but pretty cool which by the way Eddie Guererro's daughter was at the show sitting front row seat.

One little funny moment was that during that Rey/Jericho match this six year old kid say "Jericho is gay." Just a little funny because it's coming from a boy for his young age lol.

I better stop I have lot of good moments and every event I went to I have a great time what is your moment/experience?

I was there for the Montreal Screwjob - still hate HBK to this day.

I've been to tons of house shows - even got to see Taker beat Yoko for the title at a house show which never ended up happening in the real story lines. He posed with the belt, then dropped it on Yoko's chest and left. Pretty odd, thinking back.

Since I haven't watched wrestling almost at all for the last few years, all my memories are from back in the day when it was still the WWF. Bret vs Vader in a cage. Warrior vs Bulldog. Almost all early-mid 90's wrestling.

Met Tito Santana and Ric Martel when I was a kid, too. Still have the picture of me standing with them in the ring.

Late 80's I went to a house show in Minneapolis in which I got to pat Hogan on the back as he made his way to the ring, and Brett Hart gave his sunglasses to a kid sitting next to me. I believe it was the late 80's anyways, maybe early 90's. So like between 1988-92. I'm old now, so I forget what happened yesterday sometimes.

I was watching RAW one time, I was screaming "Cena sucks" at the top of my lungs. Two little kids fully geared in Cena apparel were beside me, and both cried afterwards. Poor little fellas.

That's pretty funny.

I remember when I went to a Smackdown event in Toronto and 'Taker was making his appearance. And i had all sorts of jitters as I was stage-side before you enter the ring. And the atmosphere with all the smoke and blue lighting is some intense stuff.

I used to go to alot of shows in L.A. Olymipic Auditorium in the 80's. I got to see a Battle Royal that of course Andre the Giant won. I saw Hogan wrestle Paul Orndorf, Ric Flair vs. Magnum T.A., some local lucha libre cats. I almost got a flag from Sgt. Slaughter when he used to pass them out on the way to the ring. The coolest part about matches at the Olympic was waiting in the parking lot to meet the guys, they even let us run around the mat after the shows. I met so many wrestlers in the 80's. Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, Tully Blanchard, Kamala, Superstar Billy Graham thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

I was a huge WCW fan when I was a kid, but I only went to one show. Nitro came to Atlanta and all I remember are the Steiner bros beating up on Buff Bagwell and a Sting, Lex Luger, Hogan, and Macho Man confrontation at the end. I think they fought a little bit. It kind of sucked because I was like 8 and couldn't see over the d-bags in front of us.

I remember my first event I went to was a house show. I only remember two of the matches which was Undertaker vs. Mankind and the main event was Shawn Michaels vs. Goldust. I also went to Wrestlemania 24, Michaels vs. Flair was an awesome.
