Should DX expand/pass on the name to a younger group?

Post#1 » by SpReEfOrAlL » Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:21 am

I think the the WWE should lookin to you using DX to put some young talent over. I think DX could be used much better than it is at this very moment.

When the music hits, the crowd goes insane, hell, i even tend to get goose bumps at home when i watch that old school titantron.

But then you see these 2 old guys, legends, but still old guys come out and look rather ridiculous in "cool clothes" come out and plays to the crowd. DX could easily be used to turn a young star into a major star. And then at the same time, preserve the DX brand for future use.

What do you guys think?

I think someone like Morrison would be amazing under the DX banner.

Can you guys think of anyone else that would thrive under it?

I disagree about Morrison. I don't really see room for self-effacing which is necessary to be in DX. Christian is a guy who would fit the bill, but he's a world champ even if it is just ECW. I think Evan Bourne is one guy who I'd love to see in DX. Because he's 5'9 he hasn't had the opportunity to show off his skills and persona, but from what little I've seen he's definitely got some obnoxious elements to his personality.

I think they should recruit Dibiase. How would that be for a shocker??? I've been saying for a while now that they need to reform DX as a FACTION and not this BS tag-team of Michaels and Triple H. DX could be a faction that changes members occasionally the way the 4 Hoursemen were. The core members were always the same, even when they weren't wrestling, but they brought in new blood kept the name alive.

Agreed, DX needs to be expanded.
With the good writers at WWE and someone willing to put forth a good effort as an actor and in ring performer, I think just about any young guy could be 'molded' into a DX member. Since they always seem outnumbered, they could even make it part of the storyline, DX recruits a new member to help fight Orton and Legacy. Then they could have the person being 'molded' cause DX to lose several weeks in a row leading up to a PPV. Then finally the new guy comes thru at the PPV catapulting DX to the win!!!

Making it into a Stable would really put the WWE in a new tier.

Considering the Rotundos, a Brisco, Hening, and Dibiase are triaing in FCW, Legacy can use this as a long term feeder system

A good Stable is what WWE is missing. Legacy is . .. not bad. but it just doesnt have that "Stable" feel that old DX had, or NWO, or the nation of domination. etc. etc. They can do better.
