Post#1 » by Deelow_23 » Fri Dec 4, 2009 10:03 pm

Looks like another wrestler is gone.

Hope rumors of death are false.

I just read a couple of minutes ago that as of now he is still alive. Although his chances aren't looking good right now to pull through.

Source: F4Wonline.com

- Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Edward "Umaga" Fatu passed away around 6PM EST in a Houston hospital. Apparently he suffered his second heart attack and didn't make it through. He was 36.

WWE has confirmed Fatu's passing on their website with the following:

WWE would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu’s family, friends and fans on his tragic passing. Mr. Fatu was under contract with WWE at various time periods and most recently performed under the name "Umaga." Mr. Fatu's contract was terminated on June 11, 2009.

RIP umaga, another one of our brothers gone

Damn, that's too bad.

Makes you wonder whether we should applaud these guys for working so hard or tell them to gtfo out before it's too late.

Wow. That's terrible. I remember not really liking his character at first but he grew on me quickly.

RIP Edward

Also they mentioned that Mr. Kennedy was his last match....I would hate to be Kennedy, on top of all the injuries he has last matches with Eddie Guererro and Umaga.

I think it would be an honor to wrestle Eddie Guerrero in his final match, I just read Armando Alejandro Estrada just had his retirement match over the weekend with Kennedy...

Its def sad to see Umaga gone, I think WWE let him go because he wouldnt go to rehab...
