Re: WWE's biggest need?
People didn't complain about Hornswoggle when he was with Finlay because we didn't have to see him NUMEROUS times every Monday night and there weren't entire storylines written for him (a character who doesn't even speak).

Re: WWE's biggest need?
I've never seen a wrestling show go downhill so fast.
The opening segment with DX and Mysterio was cringe worthy. Then Punk comes in and saves it for a minute and a half, until hunter starts doing his schoolyard comedy routine. And then to top it off, Teddy Long comes in to let us know that we won't be seeing the match that made me tune-in in the first place.
Awful

Re: WWE's biggest need?
IMO the worst thing about WWE nowadays is the predictability. I basically know everything thats gonna happen, especially the tag team matches. Face starts off good, heel cheats to get an advantage and dominates most of the match, face claws and scratches his way back into the match (until he throws the heel into the ropes and bends over, and gets kicked in the chest) then their is either a disqualification or the face pulls out a miracle win (even though the heel was dominating). Something different every now and then would be great.
Also, I definately agree with tag teams not staying together long enough. They seem to always break up because of title shots. The old Miz and Morrison team, Rated RKO, Cena and HBK or DX, Undertaker and Cane, great tag teams which they break up for whatever reason. Now the basis for tag teams is rivals. Either they put two rivals for a title together (say, Shaemas and Randy Orton for example and see if they can co-exist, which they obviously cant do), or they put a bunch of contenders vs the title holders. Like I heard elsewhere, its as if WWE doesnt care anymore because of their popularity (ratings and money wise).

I disagree, I actually thought Friday's show was quite good. The Mysterio-HBK segment wasn't great, but it was better than the usual DX schtick. What Smackdown had was 4 quality matches. Was it a perfect show, no, the Michelle McCool segment was awful and while those matches were very good 2 of them had DQ finishes although I think each of those did a good job of furthering a storyline. Overall, I thought it was a very good show.

A couple of points people have made, getting rid of ECW. I wouldn't say scrape it I would say give it a serious re-tooling. Move all veteran Singles wrestlers to one of the other two shows. I say make it a total breeding ground for young wrestlers and a tag team show. It already isthe former to a large degree and make it that fully and have a show where tag team wrestlers can shine.
Dunthreevy mentioned showing more puppies and I'm sure he mentioned it as just a joke remark. But I think it hits on something which is that if you don't want the women in your company to be viewed solely as sex symbols, don't hire women who have minimal training in wrestling and were primarily models prior to their WWE tenures. Yeah, you'll get a hit on a couple, Trish being the most obvious, Maryse is decent and Michelle McCool is alright as well. But for the most part, most of them aren't ever gonna be very good. TNA doesn't do this and there Knockout division was the most popular part of the company. Personally, I'd prefer most of the women being hired having a wrestling background because if I wanted the latter there's plenty of it on the internet. But if you're gonna continue your hiring practices in this regard bring back those degrading matches.

Re: WWE's biggest need?
TNA's Knockouts division is chock full of really talented female wrestlers. Even the lesser talented females are still much better than WWE's "divas". I fast forward through about 95% of the Divas matches on Raw. Thank God for dvr.

Well maybe the writers actually do read these message boards. Vince announced last night on ECW that the show is being taken off the air in 3 weeks, and that something new and innovative will take it's place.
