Mark Henry Bar incident

Post#1 » by CapeCrusader » Sun Apr 25, 2010 6:19 pm

According to Ross, the accuser was visibly intoxicated and continued to bother members of the WWE roster. He was warned by Randy Orton to go away but he continued to bother Henry, even grabbing his shirt and taunting him with explicit language.

When the bar patron asked Henry to take a picture with him or else, things escalated and were broken up by Randy Orton, John Cena and security. As security was taking the drunken patron away, the patron continued to shout at Henry which resulted in Henry throwing an empty glass at him that "missed him by miles".

BTW Ross is some guy who was a witness who saw the whole thing happen at the bar.

“I was trying to get as many signatures as possible on the card and my collectors book,” WWE fan James McClay told the Derry Journal. “Mark Henry was abusive and ignorant but I got his signature and walked away. Suddenly he threw a drink around me from behind.

“I turned around to see him stand and square up to me, suddenly John Cena and Randy Orton grabbed his arms and held him back. I honestly thought I was in one of the plot lines back stage. I felt like I was watching this happen to someone else. Suddenly Chavo Guerrero piped up egging Mark Henry on, that really annoyed me as I am a fan of his. I thought this is going to get really bad as all these wrestlers were on their feet.”

According to McClay, Henry was offering to fight: “He kept saying ‘Where I’m from you do something when someone throws a drink around you.’ “He kept calling me a ‘little punk bitch.’”

There seems to be lots of conflicting stories

Drunk asses need to act like adults and not stupid groupies, and things like this wouldn't happen.

Doesn't seem news worthy.

I remember when I was a kid and attended the local wrestling shows there would occasionally be someone(a fan) who decided to interfere in the matches to prove how tough they were. The security would allow it most often and just drag the offendor away after the wrestler had knocked him flat on his a$$. I even remember one time when the match had spilled into the crowd and a fan smacked the bad guy(Rip Oliver by name) in the back with a metal folding chair. Rip turned around, threw one punch ,knocked the guy out and went back to the match. There was no fan interference for a long time after that
