Natural progression. The current one doesn't really make sense.

Yeah I thought so too, I don't really like this one either. But if I had to choose I would take this one, just cuz it the closets to the original.

I like it just based on the fact that it resembles the 80's logo. But man, I hate pandas for ruining the WWF name.

The "Get the 'F' out" slogan they used after they changed the name was pretty clever though.
