^ Goldust the character himself I dunno, I actually liked him as himself in WCW as Dustin Rhodes. Malenko is Malkenko, I think if he kept wrestling longer in WWE then he would have gotten a good push similiar to Benoit and Guerrero.

Malenko was a great build and style for the IC title, but never the World Title. No charisma whatsoever, but he could wrestle his ass off.

Regardless of his built...doesn't mean he wouldn't get the strap. If Rey got the chance then I think Malenko would have to.

A little OT, but its amazing how these guys that were CW champs in WCW go on to be WWE World Champions. Eddie Guerrero, Y2J and Rey.

Rey was always over huge with the fans. Malenko was never, ever over like that in his career, besides the time he came back after Jericho made fun of him for months and beat the **** out of him.

Malenko was never over enough (or long enough) to be a champ. He didn't have the mic skills, the charisma, or look to be a champion. He was just a ridiculously solid in-ring performer and that's it. Rey had a distinct look, Eddie had the charisma and mic skills to go along with his ring work, and Benoit had the charisma, the "pop" move-set and an impressive build that looked identical to Dynamite Kid's. Malenko had his in-ring abilities and that's it. The absolute highest he would've went was IC champ.

I dunno WWF managed to pull the charisma out of him when he was doing that 007 adulterer character, plus I hear he is a funny dude backstage these days

I was thinking the same thing, I guess both org's had different criteria on who should be given major pushes.
