Jim"The Anvil" Neidhart Arrested

Post#1 » by Brandon-Clyde » Mon Sep 6, 2010 10:22 pm

A Hillsborough County Sheriff's arrest report says 55-year-old Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart was arrested Sunday for possession and trafficking in a controlled substance and burglary. Jail records show no bond had been set by Monday. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.

The arrest report says Neidhart was at a gas station yelling and causing a disturbance. He was seen "ingesting multiple pills" and Oxycontin pills and methadone prescribed to someone else was also found in his possession.

The man needs to be in rehab as of yesterday. This could mess up the Hart Dynasty's push as well if the Mcmahons believe it could have a negative effect on Linda's campaign

Anvil's been a hardcore druggie and criminal for years, no surprises here I'd imagine

Sorry JH, he was creating a public disturbance and seen taking pills. Between the two they had reasonable suspicion to search him

Not a big surprise. But it really is strange to see how much of a crash course him and guys like Hall have been on for years while others in the business are dropping like flies.

I really hope someone can finally talk some sense into him and get his ass into rehab.

As for the WWE, I highly doubt anything happens to the Hart Dynasty because of this. Because if it did, Vince would have problems with Bret and after all the years of wanting to repair their relationship I doubt he'd risk ruining it again because of Neidhart.

Its the lawish class jhf
i was never felt any like or dislike for anvil no bias either way

if you look at the reports
one says anvil was cussing because he couldnt open his pill bottle
if thats the case theres no real reason for the cops to be called but since they were we have to look at the reason anvil was serached

they have to have resonable susppsion to search him and deem it legal
if the search is ruled illeagl the whole case can go out the window and would go out the window becuase all the evdince they found after the search would of been found do to an illeage search

from what has been reported he was being argumenative with the polices
and honestly thats not enough to know weather he was acting like he was high at the time and with anvil his personality always seemed kinda highish
also we dont know what was said between Anvil and the police
the words could make a rather large diffrence
if it was a samll argument i feel they didnt have the right to search him

long winded ish there
and a bit rusty on my law but there ya go

From what Bret had said in his book I can't say I'm too surprised. What I find odd is that this was mentioned in the local paper. They almost always ignore pro wrestling but when something like this happens it's mentioned. It's sad.
