Caught the last three matches. Abyss vs Pope was incredibly boring. Joe definitely needs to leave TNA once his contract's up. He's been made to look like a chump so many times already.

Heel Hardy is 1000x more entertaining than face Hardy. Morgan vs Hardy was very good, besides that horrible spot that showed Morgan was supposed to win.

So I thought it was a decent show. The MCMG once again put on a phenomenal match and if this is indeed Team 3d's last match, this was a good team for them to put over.

The Jay Lethal match was solid and while this Jersey Shore gimmick is awful Robbie E is a pretty good wrestler. The RVD/Dreamer match was a decent hardcore match. I didn't actually see the Fortune/EV 2 match.

I'm sure a lot of people will complain about Pope and Joe losing but I didn't have a huge problem with it. Neither guy lost clean and they were really trying to put over how impossible is is to beat the Immortal guys.

The Hardy match was decent, its probably the best match he's had since he came back to TNA that wasn't with Kurt Angle. Its really the first time Hardy has worked as a heel and I thought he did pretty good shifting to that style, although hsi twist of fates still looked pretty sloppy.

Reading the results....

(starting from Main event)

- It was obviously expected that Hardy was gonna win. But I would of had him win dirty (with interference), so it a) makes Morgan strong still and b) makes Hardy more of a stronger heel

- I have mixed feelings of Double J beating Joe. On one hand, I agree with Safi about Immortal is suppose to be impossible to defeat. But on the other hand Joe was also built to be unbeatable/unstoppable as well. Plus Double J holding down talent when he should just be putting over talent at most.

- Reading the ending of The Pope/Abyss match sounded pretty good. I like The Pope, but i don't think it's his time yet to be headlining yet.

- Glad Fortune won, hopefully Flair lives up to his promise that EV2 will be gone in a month.

- The RVD/Dreamer match sounded like old school ECW. Glad to read the end result of them hugging it out, I thought RVD was gonna be the one to turn and join Immortal as well (which would of ruined everything).

- Glad TNA didn't mess with the push of MCMG. I was pretty sure that TNA resigned 3D, so it'll be interesting how they bring that in if thats the case.

- I like where this feud is going between Mickie and Tara. Gives life to the Knockouts division

- Not surprised Robbie E won. It would of been a shock with the push he was getting. It just sucks
cuz they were giving Lethal such a good push and now it went down the drain.

^^^ Like I mentioned in the TNA thread Lethal seems like a good guy to join the guys who are feuding with Immortal.

Reading the posts of you guys who are dismayed with the Joe/JJ and Pope/Abyss matches is that what it ultimately comes down to is that TNA has given us no reason to believe that they have any idea what they're doing. So, Joe losing to JJ is supposed to be accepted as part of a larger storyline but TNA hasn't earned that benefit of the doubt from us fans and they will be excoriated for these results.

For me (and maybe others) is that if it was anybody but Double J (maybe Abyss) then that would of been acceptable. But since we haven't seen this from Double J since TNA first started and the face that Joe was getting a somewhat like Goldberg push, then you would figure he would be at the top of the food chain.

At least AJ had a run with the title and you know sooner rather then later he'll get it again. In the case of AJ is that there is a lot of talent in the ME spots (Anderson, RVD, Hardy etc..)

If Vince Russo was reading this he'd probably say JJ didn't win cleanly it took 3 guys and a foreign object to beat him. Plus, this is part of a larger storyline to establish the dominance of this monster faction that we are trying to create.

The problem is, like I said, TNA has given us no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah TNA hasn't, but at this point hopefully it creates somewhat of a buzz and is the begining of TNA becoming a competitive company to compete with WWE.

If they wanted to be competitive, they should've branched out to other territories a few years ago during the indie wrestling boom. They had a ton of guys that already drew well in the indies and they could've created fan bases in different territories. Staying in Orlando will do nothing for them and giving time to the likes of old ECW/WWE rejects will only impede progress.

It seems like most have gone to a WWE event, as have I, but I don't know how many have gone to a TNA event which I have also done.

Having done that, the idea that TNA could be competitive with WWE is far, far from reality. When you go to a WWE show its like going to a professional sporting event. There are 15-20K people and its all very polished and professional. In TNA, part of its the fact that all there shows are in Orlando but it all feels really minor league. TNA shows are a lot closer to your typical Indy show than they are to WWE.

The problem really started shortly after they got the Spike deal. At that point they decided that they could be competitive with WWE and they make all these stop gap moves to narrow that gap. What they should've done is continue to organically grow that product
