I wasn't a huge fan of MVP but I think he was far from terrible. I think they needed to re-tool his character a bit and have him go heel again. Definitely didn't see the release coming.

Not too surprising, his charachter had gotten pretty stagnant and he's been complaining on Twitter for a few months.

This is a situation where for the sake of both sides a change needed to be made. He was floating aimlessly around the mid-card for over a year and he was starting to become cancerous. He's clearly regressed since his de-push began, but there's a reason why from 2006-2008 everyone thought this guy was going to be the next big superstar.

So relieved I don't have to look at his stupid ring attire again.

He's been pulling a matt hardy (minus the weight gain) for the past couple months.

I assume he'll go to TNA.

Didn't mind MVP. But his finishing move was so crap. If used right he could be valuable to any organization.

The de-push ruined him. I always thought that like John Morrison, if the writers actually gave him a bone and fixed up his character he'd be a star.

I still think it could work for MVP. But at this point they obviously have to change up his character. Kinda like TNA did and has done for Pope.

MVP could have picked up right where he left off if the WWE just would have made him a heel. So much for that. MVP never really got over as a face whereas he was major over as a heel. Another example of stupid booking by the WWE, but they tend to do that with their mid-card talent sometimes.

So what he's saying is, he wants to get high in Amsterdam and pound pussy in Japan? Not a bad way to live.
