CM Punk Turns Heel!

Henry wasn't even a full-time main eventer, only main eventing because of the lack of talent on Smackdown. And as soon as his world title reign was over, Henry became a main event jobber aka jobber to the face stars.

True but during his time as champion he was potrayed as dominant and if not for injury would likely have had a longer title reign. It was his injury,which WWE could have worked around IMO,that ended his time as a dominant heel

I agree about Henry but my point is for the most part. Most heel main eventers are booked poorly in the WWE. People keep bringing up the Summer of Punk but fail to ralize that Punk was a face during that time period.

Only good I see coming out of Punk's heel turn is the return of the "pipebombs."

This is what I hope comes from the Punk turn. I hope he comes out and says I tried to change the company a year ago. While changes have taken place, we're still stuck with the same Cena and everyone continues on as is. We've got a non full time wrestler coming back and he automatically guaranteed a title shot at the Rumble. I've been fighting and clawing to win the title and keeping it and ain't nobody coming out and taking this from me.

I think he should come out in a giant ice cream truck selling his Punk Ice Cream Bars. It would be funny to hear the ice cream truck music kick off Raw and him drive down, start throwing the bars in the crowd. But then again, that might get him more of a face reaction. To avoid that, have him do it, but then when he cuts his promo he can tell the fans that they were all happy that he was the engine for change last summer but they still buy up the Cena crap. Now I'm gonna be a force within the company or something.

I think it would be a 60-40 split in favor of Rocky, and I think that's how it would be whether Punk was face or heel. The people who are going to cheer Punk over Rock are still going to cheer him as a heel.

When Punk turned the reaction was IMO around 80-20 boos to cheers and I think that's how it'll remain. Punk will have his cities where he'll get a better reaction, Philadelphia, maybe New York and of course Chicago. But that reaction on Monday will be the norm.

Punk will get hella cheers up here in Milwaukee too. Because a big chunk of the audience is women/children he will certainly be catching some boo's but I expect him to get Daniel Bryan right after WM type reactions, with certain parts of the crowd going crazy for him and the rest booing extremely loud, no matter where they go.

With that said, I don't see any situation where Rocky ever gets a ton of boo's, even if he somehow turned heel (which obviously wouldn't happen).

Not excited for it. To blatantly plagiarize Chris Cash on Wrestlezone, this is pretty much an impossible situation for Punk. The WWE tried to make him a mega heel last year and instead ,that promo caused him to blow up as the voice of the voiceless (more so the voice of the attitude era fans and smarks). If he goes back to that, he'll get cheered and heels aren't supposed to grab cheers.

He can't spit the truth about Cena being the golden boy or how the Rock gets title shots and main event spots for nothing while the real workers bust their ass night in and night out. Cena did that last year and, coming from Punk, he would get cheered.

So, Punk will be what Miz was 1.5 years ago when he feuded with Cena over the title at WM27; cookie-cutter heel.

I hope it's not going to be as obvious as this:

1. Punk turns heel to feud with Rock
2. Rock goes over at RR
3. Cena wins Rumble
4. Cena beats Rock at WM to finally get title back
5. Punk over Austin or Taker over Punk at Mania in a match that turns him face

The problem with these possible feuds is that it's obvious who's going to come out the victor. so that takes away a lot of the intrigue.

By the way, how awesome will it be if Punk comes out to Miseria Cantare next week? I think the internet will explode if that happens.

This was done to make sure he Punk gets more boos than the Rock when they face off, IMO.

If they were both good guys, the Rock would get booed out of the building.

If they face off in Mania, which they're considering, it's gonna be split crowd.
