I'm 100% down with this idea.

I've got to agree with Stanford on the whole kayfabe aspect of Hulk at WM30. I absolutely loathe "serious" Hogan. He's been doing that in TNA and it's downright unwatchable. Even in shoot interviews he comes across as a huge douche and has some major revisionist history in his stories.

Give me this Hulk and I'll be thrilled about him hosting...

I'm hoping for the reverse of this. Let's go back to 1985 when Hogan wasn't a mediocre film and television star. There was way too much of this implied stardom when he was in TNA. I want to see him cut a promo like he's trying sell Wrestlemania for the very first time, brother.

In fact, I'd like to see everyone cutting promos like it's 1985. But that ain't happening.

Anyways, good for him. They should have brought him back and inducted Savage!

That would be an odd choice. I don't think they ever really made up, did they? I'm not sure Lanny would approve.

if anyone inducts him, it should be stephanie

Like watching Legends of Wrestling, getting Hogan to share nuggets of information or how special WM is and what the first 4-5 meant and the others he participated in would be more beneficial to the broadcast.

This is 30 years of making stars, talk about Undertaker and their history and how unbelievable his run has been. Talk about fighting Piper, Andre, Yoko, Savage, Rock. How it started and where it is today. Those little things would add elements to the broadcast.

or ya could just watch the show they're making about it on the wwe network

Dont get me wrong. Im not saying hogan shouldnt be in character at all. What im saying is as host he should have a mix of both and it be very lighthearted. Im not asking for a serious terry bolea or anything like that. But as host him in 80's hogan could be stale about an hour in.

Maybe its just my thought around what a host should do.

If Hogan inducts Savage, I wouldn't show up for a week at WWE headquarters in Stamford for fear of what Lanny Poffo would do.

Interested to see what kind of reaction Hogan gets tonight. He's been gone for a long time
and a lot of fans have turned heel on him and a lot of his fanbase doesn't watch the product
anymore. I think he made his return in 2002 in Green Bay at No Way Out and got a decent pop
even though he was a heel as Hollywood Hogan.

Watching that now on the network, it was actually in Milwaukee. But still interesting two of his big returns have been in Wisconsin.

As soon as his music hit last night I had a smile from ear to ear. Just made me feel like I was 5 years old again.

Yep, I had the same reaction except I was singing the words to the song. No matter what Hogan does, I'll always welcome him back to the WWE.

I was at the RAW last Monday and was pretty sweet to see Hogan again. First time since I was a youngster in 1991 when he battling Sgt Slaughter. Crowd was pretty into him, as expected. I had this theme song in my head all day before and after, lol.
