If they aren't using this angle to turn Cena heel (and they aren't because hes far away #1 in merch and grants a billion wishes for MAW) its kind of pointless to do it the way they are. I know Sunday School Wyatt is loved on this board but I'm not seeing why his appeal is so large?

Strangely enough, the Bryan-Kane feud is the one of the top 3 matches that I've found to have the best build. I'm not sitting here saying that I love the fact that they're doing Bryan-Kane or that his first title defense (first real title defense) is going to be the third from the top match on the card. So those are the expectations I had going in and they've done a satisfactory job building a match where I don't think anyone expects Kane to ultimately prevail.

I thought Bray Wyatt-Cena has been pretty good. Bray Wyatt has just done a phenomenal job, he's been almost perfect in every sense. But Cena has been kinda bi-polar. There was the stupid photo shop stuff and that final promo last night was just so unnecessary. He was so good in that opening segment and his silence in that first backstage segment was perfect. But that last segment was just unnecessary.

Shield-Evolution, I've long believed and the last few weeks have really confirmed it for me is that Evolution as a faction is very overrated. Its 4 huge stars, the only one of the 4 to never main event a Wrestlemania is Ric Flair! It was very successful in that they won a lot of titles, but also that it very effectively elevated Orton and Batista and it made HHH the centerpiece of Raw for 2+ years. Having said all of that, it didn't produce a lot of great television. I thought Smackdown was without a doubt the better of the two shows during this period. And now they've returned and people don't care. Its not a memorable faction, its a faction of memorable individuals and I think the fans are looking at them as HHH, Randy Orton and Batista. One of those guys just ended an incredibly unmemorable 7.5 month championship run. One of those guys' return has been one of the biggest flops in WWE history. And HHH he's got a good amount of heat but it feels like those two have dragged him down more than he's elevated them.

While I agree with you, it's also a shame that these are the two key matches. Everything should be focused on DB and he should be building up as champion, the show focused around him. I know the Kane feud is a stop-gap feud but they've completely slowed any momentum DB had after a big WM win. His promos and responses to Stephanie since have been really bland (i know that that's part of who he is but step it up a bit).

I can almost see this somehow being a story of ratings dropped in his segment and them pulling the belt off him much quicker followed by him dropping back to mid-card.

I hope I'm wrong though.

Can't disagree. I mentioned how I was miffed that they didn't come up with anything for Sheamus to do -- how much better would it have been if he had aligned with the Authority and been the one feuding with Bryan post-WM instead if Kane? They could have done something more interesting than "Kane is an uncontrollable monster hellbent on destruction!!!" for the umpteenth time.

i think they're building up soon for a sheamus heel turn

They need to. Happy/joking Sheamus is horrible to me. **** Sheamus is sooooooo much better IMO.

Shaemus is slowly turning into Cena, so best turn him now.

Mick Foley's reaction to the Bray segment was great.

* That Bray segment was incredible. The one time I wish there was more Smarks in the crowd, it would've been awesome if the whole arena was singing the song together with the choir.

* Was hoping Titus pulled up a upset over Sheamus. Sheamus is definitely turning into Cena 2.0.

* I laughed when I saw Sandow in the Magneto costume, still ffwd'd the segment.

* Hopefully after Rusev squashed Truth & Woods at Extreme Rules, they go into the Tag-Team division, those double-team moves they did on Rusev were cool.

* LANA IS SMOKING HOT. I've never seen someone make a business suit look so good. She's a top 5 Diva.

* 3MB Won?!?! **** YEAH!! I love their theme, wished they pushed a little more serious.

* Brie is starting to look hot also, maybe because she's a married woman now. She looks way more attractive then her twin.

* I have to give WWE Creative some credit, they have been on the money lately.

* Looking forward to BNB winning the title at Extreme Rules, nothing against Big E but BNB is a hotter character right now.

* Loved seeing Naitch, he can do no wrong in my eyes. Looking forward to Evolution/Shield having a kickass match on Sunday.

* ST. Louis crowd sucked ass all night.
