There was a ton of hype surrounding Nakamura last night, and he proved why he deserved it, but Sami Zayn might have cemented himself as the best in-ring performer in the world in my eyes. He was able to be peak Sami Zayn last night while also turning it up and matching Nakamura's physicality and even matched some of his personality. I'd be hard pressed to name a better in-ring performer than Zayn right now.

When the Yes chants first started to happen for Naka/Zayn I remembered Daniel Bryan immediately and felt bad he will never get to face either of these guys in a WWE ring.

The WWE and NXT have a ton of phenomenal in-ring guys right now. Zayn, Nakamura, Styles, Owens, Rollins, Cesaro, Balor, Crews...there's just a ton of talent there.

Read in Sescoops that Joe was originally planned to win.

Zayn is the guy I think. As in the next face of the company. I think he's got the Daniel Bryan underdog thing where it's near impossible to not like him, and he surpasses him in charisma and in ring ability. Helps that he has the best heel in the world as his decade long rivalry.

I saw this comment on YouTube:

Vince is backstage right now going " Hunter, I've been saving this sushi chef gimmick for someone special. This Samsung Nagasaki, this might be the guy!"

As someone who's never seen Nakamura wrestle before I was impressed. I loved his entrance I got goosebumps from it. Loved Nakamura/Zayn, Bayley/Asuka and watching American Alpha win the tag titles. I hope Joe gets called up soon.

I had only seen like 2 Nakamura matches prior to this one so he's still relatively new to me as well. He certainly has a presence though. He oozes charisma and I don't see how they keep him away from the title picture (in NXT or WWE) for very long.
