One other option would be to produce the list based on all the submissions, post it and then ask people to pick someone for a writeup. Based on our individual lists, you could see a bunch of write-ups on the same guy where all of us don't know who anyone else is doing a writeup for.

I have only received submissions from two people! There's no danger in doubling up at this point.
I wanted to start revealing these one-by-one tomorrow and I wanted the list to be a surprise. If I just post the whole thing, it eliminates all the drama.
