It makes plenty of sense

Makes all the sense in the world actually

and HIAC is a match that ends feuds, this Charlotte/Sasha feud is over, she's either taking time off or she's going to be pushed down the card a bit.

That's all well and good except that they didn't set up Sasha in a good way and she's just as over as a face as Bailey. This feud between the two has been pretty meh for a variety of reasons. If the plan was to go back to Charlotte to transition the belt to Bailey as face they did a poor job of setting it up IMO.

And considering the streak that Charlotte's on and how they've built her up, who knows if they are really looking at taking the belt off her. We'll have to wait and see but as a payoff for the feud between those two it didn't make sense.

I thought the Owens/Rollins match was really good, probably the best match of the night. I'd guess Jericho will be in a program with Rollins, while I'm not sure who is next for Owens.

I'm not the type to really get this I involved, tbh, I just watch the show and enjoy it, I don't really think about these things during the matches, and if I did I probably wouldn't watch wrestling because nit picking every little thing in every storyline/match sounds dreadfully dull.

Maybe Sasha takes some time off to add on some more muscle that shes been rumored to have been asked? Would like to see Charlotte steam roll RAW until Mania, when Asuka comes in and drops her day 1.

It's all about the $ that they bring into the company, Bayley has been and continues to be one of the top merch sellers because of her appeal to kids, most internet fans fail to see this. Asuka is not going to appeal to the casual fan, same with Nakumura, they won't last on the big stage very long.

I hate that they are turning Charlotte into a superCena. She still hasn't lost a ppv match

I have no problem with that because she's as talented a female wrestler as I've seen since Madusa - and considerably bigger than most of her opponents. She looks the part and backs it up in every facet. That's even without having Flair as her pop. And realistically, with Sasha's injuries, they probably need the more durable Charlotte at this point. Even though I like the natural selection finisher in regular matches - because it looks like a legit finisher and the first time I saw that move used was her using it in NXT (though I'm sure others have used it), I think most people - including me - expected a high risk move would win it. So, the ending kinda let the air out of the balloon considering it was booked as - and was - a historic main event. It was good, but I was hoping for a memorable ending and didn't get it. In the long run, I want them to stay healthy, so i'm okay with it.

Sasha went through the announcer's table, hit some tables, the barricade, the fence and a chair. Still, no object did more damage to her than her own trunks. It was almost comical at the end, like Charlotte was playing up how much of a bully she was by delivering the classic bully move - the wedgie

Bayley is one of, and very arguably number one, the biggest internet darlings in wrestling today.

From what I've seen it's all about Asuka/Sasha

But even if she is, that's not the point, she's sells merch.

Cena is hated by the IWC, no one in the company cares, because they know the 5000 kids with Cena shirts can't yell in the crowd as loud as the 2000 40 year old virgins that love manlets like AJ Styles.

I don't know where you're looking, but if that's what you're seeing its probably very recent and its because of the more high profile spots they're in at this very moment.

But it severely undercuts your point. Bayley would be a lot less popular than she is if that segment of the audience didn't like her and didn't support her. She's as over as she is because she has the entire crowd behind her.

And during Cena's stint on top TV ratings went down dramatically, PPV buys went down to such a degree that they've gotten out of the PPV business. (Make no mistake about it, if off-brand PPV's were still doing 300K buys instead of struggling to get to 150 like they were they wouldn't have gone as aggressively to the OTT model as they did). Some or all of those things might not be his fault, but Cena isn't a cut-and-dry success as a draw, far from it.

According to WWE's own demographic research in 2014, 56% of its audience was 35+ and only 21% of it was 17 and under.
