That Lesnar match was fantastic. Its great to be reminded that lesnar is a really great wrestler when he bothers.
This match made Aj look like a legit threat, probably the closest match he's had since he faced reigns (and a lot more fluid also).
Wasn't the longest match but full of action.

womans match was good too, but as it should have been, Charlotte won convincingly.

As always, WWE's booking is its own worst enemy.

I don't care for HHH always inserting himself into storylines, but overall I enjoyed the entire show. I don't think there was one bad match. Store man should have whooped HHH some more though.

Angle just can't do it anymore. Looks old and slow even when protected in a match like this. Not as bad as Sting did but not far off.

I vote that we refer to Strowman as Store Man from now on.

Re: WWE Survivor Series (November 19th, 2017)
The show was great...until the second half of the main event.
I missed The Shield v New Day as I was finishing dinner, so I'm gonna have to rewatch that match.
The Women's 5-5 match was decent, very obvious that Team Raw was going to win due to Asuka. With them keeping score, it made it very easy to figure out who was going to win what match, in my opinion.
I was rooting for The Miz but Corbin winning isn't that bad. Their match was better than I thought it was going to be, to be honest. I liked The Miztourage interfering subtly.
The Bar v The Usos was amazing. The Usos have done a complete 180 to revitalize their careers with their heel turn, they are just so damn good. They have great matches with almost anyone they wrestle against. The Bar has been fantastic as well. Putting those two together was a f*cking brilliant idea.
With the score 2-2, I figured Charlotte was going to beat Alexa. The end of the match, with Alexa in the corner, holding her title in fear and Charlotte standing strong over her. This was good, with my bae coming out on top.
AJ v Brock was fantastic, AJ can get a great match out of anyone, holy crap. Those two put on a fantastic match, easily the match of the night. Absolutely great. I liked the Brock heavy start with AJ coming back, the calf crusher legit made it seem like Brock was going to tap out even though we all knew that wasn't going to be the case (because the score was 3-2 in favor of SmackDown) and Brock getting out of the submission was perfect, slamming his head multiple times into the mat, awesome, but then the finish, a P4A, kicks out, then trying again and into an F5. Brock selling the knee injury was awesome, he kept selling it even backstage.
The 5-5...started great. Finn v Shinsuke was awesome. the crowd went crazy. Trips v Shinsuke was cool, Trips v Roode was also cool. But then it gets dumb. Braun eliminating Shinsuke and Roode just like that, why? The match turned into a train wreck. Trips can be great when it comes to NXT but man...we don't need a Trips v Braun match at all.
Overall, a good show with a poor finish.

Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

Re: WWE Survivor Series (November 19th, 2017)
Not putting Lesnar/Styles on last, especially when they knew how the survivor series men's match was going to play out, was the biggest mistake they possibly could have made.
My ratings:
New Day / Shield - First half of the match felt really poor and disjointed. Second half picked it up and was very good. ***1/2
Women's Survivor Series Match - Almost everything about this was awful other than Asuka winning. Just terrible booking throughout most of the match and the action mostly sucked too. *
Miz/Corbin - Missed this one. NR.
Bar/Usos - Great match from two of WWE's best current tag teams. ***3/4
Charlotte/Bliss - Solid match. Went about five minutes too long. ***
Lesnar/Styles - Easily the match of the night. First Brock match since his 'Mania bout with Goldberg where it felt like he was actually trying to put on a good show. ****
Men's Survivor Series Match - A testament to how bad booking can ruin what seems like a sure thing. They had all the talent in the world in this match, but not using it to propel new talent like Roode and Nakamura was a huge mistake. They eliminated most of the guys the crowd was fully invested in too early, which killed the crowd down the stretch. The best parts of this match were early on when we got a lot of cool interactions between various wrestlers, some with history, some without. Not even sure why Cena was in this match, as he really didn't do a damn thing of note and was invisible for the first half of the match. The ending was absolute crap. Triple H had no business getting the final pin in a match like this. **1/2
---
Overall, WWE once again proved that they can take an amazing card and put on a perfectly mediocre show with it. This show wasn't bad, but it fell well short of greatness, and the actual survivor series matches were both major disappointments (especially the women's match, which was absolutely terrible until the very end).
NXT keeps the crown and remains undefeated when a Takeover matches with a main roster PPV.

Really enjoyed Usos vs The Bar and AJ vs Brock.
Easily the best matches of the night.
The traditional 5 vs 5 are pure entertainment. Everything is about those moments like Nakamura vs Balor, Nakamura vs HHH, Roode vs HHH, Angle vs Cena. The crowd goes wild, but it's not really a wrestling match.
Btw, what the actual **** are they doing with Becky Lynch?!

Wasted opportunity for WWE in my opinion:
Had Roode, Nakamura, Balor that all could have benefited from a really good showing amongst the "top" guys...but the booking blew it as per usual.
