WOW. You have to watch the taker/goldberg match to believe it. By far the worst match either wrestler put out in their careers imo.
That tombstone could have killed Goldberg, who was gassed 2 minutes into the match and botched his jackhammer badly, then couldnt even pick up taker after. And the worst chokeslam in the history of professional wrestling to top it off (worse than the Hogan one imo).

Re: WWE Super ShowDown Discussion
It was like Goldberg got 3 concussions that night. One for headbutting the locker room door, one from the ring post that knocked him out, and one from the tombstone. He got **** up that night.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.
"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

I don't think he actually hit the ring post. Granted I only watched the match once but it looked like he was nowhere near it. Pretty sure he bladed before the match and then opened the cut right after that spot.

I thought he hit the bolt that was sticking up connecting the turnbuckle to the post

You could see a spot on his head when he was walking to the ring where he was busted open before the match... At least from what I remember.

Yea but isnt that his thing? I recall seeing that in his WCW days multiple times.

Yeah I think that's where he pre-bladed.

I'm sad to hear about the Undertaker/Goldberg match.
I mean, it's not completely unexpected considering their ages, but damn...I just hate seeing their legacies (and health) take an unnecessary hit like that.
It's like Hogan/Warrior at Halloween Havoc all over again, except this time both men almost left with severe injuries.

I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for either guy. They are both rich people who had the option of turning down the job. Both took the check and put on a terrible match that everyone who wasn't incredibly naive knew was going to be terrible because Taker hasn't wrestled a good match in about five years and Goldberg even in his prime wasn't good enough to carry bad wrestlers to anything other than a quick squash.

Thankfully neither one of them was seriously hurt, but yeah...it didn't disappoint.
