I won't lie, I thought Stomping Grounds was next Sunday so I was reading some wrestling boards today a bit confused at the renewed griping and some stuff I didn't understand ('Beta Seth' type comments and people making fun of his tweets this weekend)

From the recap I read it sounds like it wasn't a bad show up until the terrible world title matches. But that's what they get for trying to have Baron Corbin main event a PPV. He sucks, and literally no one cares about Ziggler at this point. Those guys are anti-draws to me.

In my mind, the main problem with these main roster PPVs is that they seem to top out at good. Like, from the recap it sounded like most of the undercard matches were good but short of great. And when we get constant balls to the wall action during NXT shows, it makes shows where good is the best you're going to see underwhelming. If you're going to have a card with eight to ten matches, at least two or three of them need to be fantastic, not merely good, and the two worst matches on the show can't be the co-main events.
