Aew is not restricting themselves to face-heel feuds, they are all characters with good and bad traits. It’s almost if they’re people , lol.

You cheer for you want, and boo whoever you want. Guy above me hates Miro, I think he’s one of my top 5 favourites rn in all honesty. Boo, cheer, whatever. It’s any reaction and being vocal/invested in the characters is what they care about.

There are only a few clear cut faces, like Shida. Everyone else has shown heel tendencies.

I think Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Scorpio Sky also fall under the clear cut face umbrella

You still need it in some cases. Like I hated Roman Reigns as a face. But love his heel character.

But yes, for most the part now, fans don't boo guys based on if they're face or heel. They cheer or boo guys based on if they like their work or not.

It feels a little anti-climactic to have two guys win a battle royal. Also, my goodness — I wanted anyone but Orange Cassidy to win it.

Jericho looks huge, and not in a good way. He’s very wide, out of shape and immobile at this point. I think they need to hurry up and flesh out some marquee feuds involving him over the next year because I don’t think he’ll have much past that.

Edit: Excuse my language, but oh dear God. They need to stray away from doing moves like a Spanish fly off the top rope with Chris Jericho. Kazarian almost landed on his neck.

Leila Hirsch and Baker went on for far too long. What was that ? Like 12-15 minutes ? Should’ve been 4-5 minutes, at most (and I like Baker).

Sting is AEW!
He has signed a multi-year deal.

Wow what an ending! Not only does Omega get the belt, but they also basically announce a partnership with Impact. Sweet

A partnership with NJPW would be better. They have a better roster than Impact.

Im one of the few guys that still watches it every week. It's not great by any means. But I'll take it over Raw/SD any day of the week. Great to see it's about to get a major boost. Everybody is gonna be tuning in next week.

And I echo everyone on Sting. I mean sure it's nice seeing him every so often , like tonight. But he's toast as far as being a wrestler is concerned.

Who’re the top guys in Imapct right now ?

& yeah Sting as a wrestler is done, but him being there as an on-air character is a huge deal.

They're definitely not main event heavy. Their Champ is Rich Swann. Their last champ was Eric Young and before that Eddie Edwards. Moose is still there and he's worthy. Callahan is great imo. EC3 atleast was back not here if he's still working there or only ROH now. Ace Austin is a rising star but haven't seen him lately. Their tag team title picture has real tag teams the good brothers and the North. Their women's division is better than AEWs.

Again , not great by any means. But it's a solid show every week.

Yikes, Swann as your promotions world champion sounds pretty weak, but I’m pretty high on Sami and EC3 though. Moose’s work is pretty good from what I’ve seen also (looks like a big intimidating dude too). Young is a good hand but I think his WWE run hurt more than helped when it comes to his image.

I’m excited to see where this angle(?) goes though.

What an episode!! Sting!!! I marked out, one of my favourite gimmicks of all time. Don’t need to see him in any matches, at least no
1vs1 ones, but I’m all for it as an on screen character.

Glad AEW gave Omega the title, what a match, and what a twist to do it. I may have to tune into impact now, i didn’t even such a thing still existed and imagine the state of it now... just a win for everyone.

I was looking forward to the battle royal, but it was booked awfully. Matt Hardy, again, looking too strong. He has total x pac heat for me.

If you’re going to have OC in the final, makes sense to have it against Miro. Or MJF vs. Wardlow/Sammy, just weird booking.

Agreed, loved this episode.

Of course I may be biased as Sting is my all time favorite, I think Jericho is the GOAT, and MFJ the best current heel, so I'm AEW all the way.

And yeah, now I'm tuning into Impact for like the first time since Styles and Angle were there, so definitley have me intrigued.

I also like the Inner Circle dynamic, obviously theyre not splitting up this quickly, but interested to see how it plays out, who defects, etc.

Sting will probably be used as a mentor for Dary Allen? Can it be?
I don't think that he will make some wrestling matches, but it is cool to see him again.

Am I the only one who didn't like the shenanigans in the main event?
Didn't feel like they needed that.
