HHH will apparently offer the Rhodes family a lucrative offer on this coming Monday's Raw. My guess is something along the lines of they get there jobs back if they do something, attack there dad, join the regime, etc.

If this is the route think the right way to do this would be if one of them accepted the offer, my vote would be on Goldust, and then a feud ensues between the brother who joined vs Dusty and the one who didn't.

Spoiler:
Night started with Sami Zayn & Bo Dallas vs Tons of Funk in a dark match. It was nice seeing SZ but there's not much to comment on the match, it was pretty quick and ToF won handily.

Main Event started off with Big E and Fandango vs The Usos, this was a pretty fun match, I'd guess the longest of the three ME matches and the most well balanced.

Sandow vs Big Show - Sandow got squashed, big show ripped his briefcase off of a chain and placed it in Sandows hands after deliviring the WMD

Axel vs Gabriel - Until Gabriel got some offense in late you could hear a pin drop. I've been underwhelmed with Axel as it is but being there live and hearing him get literally no reaction makes me wonder what you do with him.

Smackdown Spoilers

Spoiler:
The show started with a pretty good segment between Miz and HHH, leading to HHH booking the main event of Orton vs Miz ( :( )

Del Rio then beat R-Truth in a quick squash match.

PTP and the Real Americans had a good match, the crowd was getting into it and it was a decent length match. Cesaro gave the giant swing to Titus, which was crazy to see live, especially done to such a large man. Real Americans eventually won dirty.

Bray Wyatt beat Zach Ryder. Nothing to the match but it was nice getting to see the Wyatt entrance live. There were a few Husky Harris chants early.

Ambrose vs Ziggler got called a DQ only a couple minutes in and at this point you can hear some groans coming out because there's been a lot of quick matches and a lot of dark downtime in between taping segments... But H comes out and makes it a 6 man tag between The Shield and Ziggler/RVD/Kofi. It was your classic everyone hit their finishers near the end 6 man tag match but it was nice to get a full length match with some good action, probably the best match of the night.

AJ Lee beat Cameron. With the angle I was at AJ gave me some nice ass posing.

A couple minutes into the Main Event Miz gets injured and Orton gets DQ'd, HHH came out and had the match restarted and said the match had to end by pinfall, Miz got RKO'd shortly after. Most of the crowd stuck around hoping for a Dark Match main event but Lilian Garcia told us to go home.

I had fun being there live but overall it wasn't the best show. No D-Bry, no Punk, The tag match in Main Event was better than a majority of the SD matches in terms of quality. Heyman had a promo & HHH and Big Show had a short backstage segment to build that a little more, but hardly any storyline development.

Stanford mentioned this not too long ago but there's really no one helping guide the show for the live crowd at SD, they would tape a segment then turn off the lights and music and cut to black screen. They did this even when they cut to the announce booth so this happened often. They did this right after Wyatt won his match and then Bray was posing on the ringpost, you could see the ref grab and rush him off to the entrance ramp because all the lights and music and everything were about to come back on in a few seconds and he had to be in place for the spotlight with The Family. Just seems like an odd way to do things.

From what I bolded, sounds like a great show! :P

Why go down that path to begin with? Not really a fan of what you're describing here. I'd rather they leave Cody going rogue here and Dustin backing him up. It's not like Goldust being with the Regime and having a contract builds him up. But Cody staying rogue fighting his way in to arena's and Dustin just being a support guy works for a little while longer.

how bout giving them contracts if they beat The Shield at Battleground? could also be for the titles? :dontknow:

when's Cody's wedding again?

and btw, I know Ryback has been set up to feud with Punk with this anti-bullying theme, but wouldn't it be awesome if in place of Ryback they use Big E? what happened to that guy?

Someone presented the idea of putting the World Heavyweight title on a heel Goldust with HHH's backing and having Cody chase after him. I actually like the principle of that idea, but it would need really good execution so it works.

I think they'll purpose a Rhodes vs. Shield match at Battleground or something like that.

Cody has his wedding I believe.

I've read that WWE seems to be moving in the direction of turning Big E face.

What are the plans for Cody Rhodes and Goldust?
The latest step in the storyline is that Triple H has “invited” Cody Rhodes and Goldust to next week’s Raw to hear a “lucrative proposition.” I heard there were plans a couple weeks ago to do The Shield vs. The Rhodes Family at Battleground next month but there was a hang-up about Dusty actually competing. As I mentioned on Wednesday, Cody is back in WWE and his leave of absence to get married is over.

why do I feel like it's too soon?

For whatever reason WWE doesn't seem to like to drag out these rogue guys stories. CM Punk was back after just a week, although I think that was happenstance as much as anything as the next PPV was Summerslam. Matt Hardy though, he was legitimately released, and when he appeared on Raw and attacked Edge I think there were a lot of people who legitimately believed that was a shoot. And they could've dragged that out for months but instead Matt's back a few weeks later.

Did Cesaro just helicopter TItus? Pretty sweet that he's getting over by a move. That's some awesome physics sh*t right there.

I just re-watched the main event of Raw and a thought occurred to me about the Rhodes boys attacking The Shield. Why exactly were they going after The Shield? They are, I guess, mercenaries for the regime so they wouldn't be there favorite people in the world. But if I'm Cody and Goldust the order of my list of people to go after is HHH, Stephanie and Randy Orton.

Its not a huge deal, but its one of those things that I hope they give some sort of explanation for.

They forced Big Shows hand to knock out Dusty. If they weren't there threatening, Big Show would have likely drawn a line there and walked out.

But they only did that on Stephanie McMahon's request. It just seems like if I'm Cody and Goldust The Shield is pretty far down my list of people I'm angry with.

hmmm, probably because the easiest access is through the crowd and unfortunately it was The Shield in the ring and not the McMahons since they are backstage where it's strictly employees only? :dontknow:

Just now watching RAW from Monday. It's pretty amazing what a little bit of motivation and consistent booking can do for an aging wrestler. Speaking of RVD, of course. A year ago while he was still fumbling around in TNA, would anyone have guessed he would be where he is now?

There are, I think two, similar but somewhat different explanations that could work. One, they could say they want to get there hands on HHH and the best way to do this is to first get rid of his henchmen. The other would be they want to destroy the regime one-by-one and that starts with The Shield, then Orton, then HHH. Or HHH then Orton.
