Did you watch Goldust's promo? Because he lays out their history and the problems they have with each other in it very nicely. It's a great piece of hype.

That is a damn good hype package, ok i'm excited for that. if AEW pulls off this kind of production for their main product and has hype promos (something which most wrestling companies fail to do) at this level, then we have a really good promotion on our hands.

Great hype video. Very well done too. I may actually order this PPV when it comes time.
Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

"Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game."

Any word if they have banned certain moves and if AEW is going to be PG? I really hope not - For example we never see hardcore matches eh? I wanna see some ECW type **** lol

Bring in Jon Moxley and have him star in the hardcore division!

It sounds like it will be P.G, but probably pushing the boundary on certain things if the Elite is to be believed.

i wish there was an MA promotion but AEW won't be it. I miss ECW a lot and even early ROH did this well, its a niche that never has been filled by a full time promotion (Lucha Underground has done it some bit well).

Solid signings. These two are awesome.

Kong reminds me of an arcade character who has limited powerful moves that you spam the **** out of the controller (thst backfist).

Angelico has signed with AEW

They have also managed to get a TV deal with ITV in the UK (granted, i think D.O.N is on ITV on demand).

Looks like a TV deal with Turner is pretty much a done deal. This is huge

Me being a very casual fan i never heard of like 80-85 % of the roster - And apparently they are near the max with regards to money they can spend on talent.

Overall how would you rate the talent on the roster currently?

I LOVE that they brought in Jim Ross!

Yeah, mid card wise the talent is there, but their main event scene is not that good name wise, its only Omega and Jericho (and maybe Cody, though he'd be better as a mid card or gatekeeper guy rather than guy you build around). They need at least 2-3 other names they can safely build around (one will be Jon Moxley, if Sami Zayn's contract is up, he'd be another name you can rely upon alongside Omega to be a guy who can easily deliver MOTY candidates then maybe building someone up organically or trying to get a guy from TNA or ROH).

They'll have to build guys up but, really, that's not nearly as hard as WWE makes it look. WWE has arguably the most talented roster in history and they still manage to make 99% of their wrestlers look like sh*t.

I really like the signings of Jack Evans and Angelico. They are both great.

You guys can correct me if I’m wrong but one thing they seem to lack are heavyweights? Like Braun types?

So who ever wins the battle royal, gets a title shot. I think it'll be Moxley as a surprise entrant.

Would be cool to see Shawn Spears get picked up too.

Anyone think CM Punk is possible for the battle royal? That would probably be the shock of all shocks?

I remember when Scott Hall crashed WCW Nitro, that was amazing maybe same type of moment?

I've been a fan of Evans for a long time, but he's not exactly a big name to build around.

Well yeah, he's not going to be a company's big star. But he is a good mid-carder.

I'd love it but I really do think Punk is just done with wrestling. If he were to sign I'd bet they'd want to have him debut on their television pilot.

I think CM Punk will eventually end up in AEW especially if it's successful...

I know him and AJ made a lot of money in WWE and she was a best selling author after and he did a couple of UFC fights
but it's hard to retire in your early 40's and live off that money for the rest of your life especially if you want to live a
pretty good lifestyle.

Punk did lose a lot of money in lawyer fees on the Colt Cabana lawsuit...

If I was him I'd look for a Brock Lesnar type deal with AEW. Doesn't have to be on the road full time can make big money
and be the guy. I think he wants to be home as much as possible to watch hockey and be on the NHL network talking
about his Blackhawks.
